"I bought you some new friends. They're from Trader Joe's and their name is Rouge, so be nice".

I placed my newest plant down on my window seal. I have 12 other plants. I love them all individually.

I sit down on the couch next to my cat, Cosmo.

"What should we do today?," I asked him.

"Meow"

"How about we go out and do some mid-day shopping. Good idea"

I look at him and he just looks at me and yawns. "I'll take that as I do" I kiss his head and grab my phone.

As I walk into my room I call my sister. It rings...rings...and she picks up.

"Hello?" She answers

"Hey, Serenity. I was wondering if you wanted to go shopping with Cosmo and me?"

"I can't. I have a meeting this morning with my boss."

"Alright then, I'll talk to you later. Love you.

"Love you, too" She hangs up.

Serenity was my older sister. We usually went shopping together all the time but she started talking to this guy at her job named Matthew and I think she might have a crush on him but she won't admit it to me.

I walk into my closet and grab a black shirt, leggings, and some socks, and put them on. I slip on my ugg slippers. I walked into my bathroom, brushed my teeth, and washed my face. I decided not to wear makeup today because I'm feeling lazy. I currently have butterfly locks, so I did an up-down hairstyle.

Turning off the light and walking into the kitchen. I see Cosmo eating from his bowl. I grabbed my pink stanley and filled it up with water because it's good to be hydrated.

I pick up Cosmo and grab my keys and head out. I live in an apartment outside of town. I found my Toyota SUV. I sit Cosmo in the passenger seat and start the car.

After the car has been sitting, I pull out of the parking lot and get on the two-lane road. I turn on the radio and hear Christmas music. I'm excited because my momma is coming down for the holidays. I haven't seen her in 10 months.

I look over at Cosmo and see myself looking out the window. He likes to be outside sometimes but if it's raining and cloudy, he won't go out at all.

We finally made it into town, and I pulled into Chick-Fil-A because I was hungry.

"You want something Cosmo?" I ask as I pet behind his head. He purrs and curls up in the seat.

I pull up to the worker. I always wondered why they had a speaker but didn't use them.

"Hello miss. Welcome to Chick fil-A. Can I have your name?

"It's Imogen"

"Alright, Ms. Imogen what can I get you today?"

"Can I get a chicken sandwich, no tomato with a large fry and a Medium sweet tea?"

Of course. Anything else?"

"Yeah, can I get some Polynesian sauce and that's it,"

"Yes ma'am. That'll be $5.85."

I hand him my credit card and he puts it in the machine and hands the card and receipt back.

"Thank you"

"My pleasure" he smiles and nods.

I drive forward to the window.

I pull to the window an see a short elderly woman.

"Imogen?"

I nod and she hands me the bag and my drink.

"Need anything else?"

"Can I have some napkins?"

She nods and hands me some napkins.

"Thank you"

"My pleasure sweetheart"

I give her a smile and drove off and park into a spot in the back of the parking lot.

I open my box and put some sauce on the chicken. Cosmo meows and I take some of the lettuce and hand him some. He eats it and lays back down.

When I was eating, I was also watching people-watching. I saw a lady dragging her 4 kids into Publix. They were screaming and running around the buggy. Note to self: Never have 4 kids. I believe I saw a drug deal go down. It was these two dudes in between these vans. One had something in a little bag and the other had some money. After that, I said to myself it's time to get outta here.

Now I'm strolling downtown with Cosmo in a pet stroller. He's spoiled.

It's time to start some Christmas shopping. I have a list of different things my family wants.

I've bought most of my stuff on Amazon, but I just need a couple more things for my sister and my nana.

I see a bakery called Bennets. I walk in and see a young lady with Brown hair cleaning down the food display.

"Good afternoon. Welcome" Her country accent is predominant.

"Hello. I haven't been here before. Do you have any recommendations?"

"Well of course I do. Our best sellers during this time are Gingerbread, Butter, and Spirtz. We even have some for pets too. She says while waving at Cosmo.

"Ok. Can I get a frosted cookie, Gingerbread, and one of the cookies for pets?"

She nods and puts the frosted and Gingerbread cookie in a box together and puts Cosmos in a smaller box.

"That'll be 3.50," she says as she places the boxes into a bag.

I handed her my card and put the bag in the basket under the stroller.

She hands me the card and receipt back.

"Thank you"

"You're welcome and happy holidays."

I smile and Cosmo and I head out and continue looking at the different stores. While there, I found a couple things for my nana.

I was now at home laying in my bed watching Abbott Elementary while I edited my youtube video. I started doing YouTube a couple years ago, I only have like 700 subscribers because I only do Vlogs.

I had my bonnet on knowing it was gonna come off when I woke up. Cosmo is curled up at the end of the bed. I slowly fall asleep and let this darkness take over.
