"Yes rehan I actually want to talk about Ahana"Anjali said but she explained further seeing their faces "I have found a suitable groom for Ahana , don't worry I've arranged for them to meet tomorrow if Ahana doesn't like him I promise to leave it like that,his name is Vikram ahuja"
"Thanks mom"Ahana hugged and kissed her mother's cheeks after all her childhood dreams of getting married was coming true even though she hadn't met the guy she trust her mom has made the right choice for her
"But mom why didn't you let me know Earlier I would have met him"Rehan was an overprotective brother so of course he wanted to first meet the guy
Next DAY
Meera was walking downstairs with Ahana she had just met her to be groom and she had been talking about him non stop"um..Ahana I forgot my phone in the kitchen please wait I'll go get it"Ahana simply nodded while she hurried off
As she was getting closer to the door she heard some voices"isn't that Mrs.meenakshi and her son's Vikram's voice"she asked herself as she unintentionally eavesdrop on them
"Mom I never imagined the luthras were such fools,they actually believe I like Ahana"Vikram laughed"we just have to play along son when you marry her we'll gain half their property and maybe after a month or two you you can divorce her"Meenakshi laughed with her son
"Oh my god who do I inform,I can't tell Ahana that her dream prince is a fraud neither can I tell Mrs Anjali,who do I tell"Meera panicked"yes I'll inform Rehan."she hurried off to meet him
"I need to talk to you"Meera said as soon as she entered the room
"But I don't want to see or talk to you"Rehan who was styling his hair said
"It's about...it's about ah.. Ahana"Meera starmerred I mean who wouldn't when they see the handsome, muscular chest of Rehan
"What happened to her"Rehan asked his whole attention on Meera
Meera distracted herself from his chest and told him of Vikram's and his mom's conversation
"How dare you accuse Vikram wrongly"Rehan said with an angry gaze in her
"It's not a lie..I"Meera tried to explain but he cut her off"do you have proof"he asked still angry but when he received no answer he said"I don't want to hear anymore of this and remember one thing you are a maid so act like one and stop snooping around"
Meera felt tears gather in her eyes as she walked home but wiping it off she promised herself than she wouldn't let rehan's words hurt and discourage her,she promised herself that she would get to the bottom of this matter and show Rehan that he was wrong, with this determination ,she went home and had a relaxing sleep as she knew tomorrow was going to be a hard ,long day
