I grab a towel from the closet and meet Jeremiah in the backyard. We started walking down to the beach just having small talk about stuff. We finally get down to the beach.
"Wanna race?" He says smiling in anticipation
"I don't know jere, your legs are too long now." I say and then cut him off running down the beach
"HEY!! That's not fair!" he says running right after me laughing
We just start laughing. He's chasing right behind me we dropped our towels as we ran.
"Looks like I won!" I smile at him
"Yeah, because you cheated." He laughs
"Me? Cheat? I'd never!" I say sarcastically
He just looks at me for a moment, then splashes me with water.
"I know you did not just do that" I say shocked
"Oh, but I did" he says back grinning
"It's on." I say splashing him in the face
We just start having a water fight. Then he tackles me into the water. I just start laughing
I lift my head back up from the water we both are just sitting staring at each other. His eyes are pretty I can't look away. I feel like I could stay like this for hours and not mind.
The effect this boy has on me is insane, I don't think anyone else could make me feel how he makes me feel.
I snap out of my trance and speak
"You wanna go get some ice cream?" I say still staring in his eyes
"Yeah sure! Let's go get dried off and we can go to scoops"
Scoops is this cute little ice cream store owned by this older couple here in cousins. We have gone there to get ice cream every summer for as long as I can remember.
We both get out of the water Jeremiah helping me up. Grabbing our towels we head back up to the house.
We both go into our rooms to change, I sort through my dresser and find some blue Jean shorts and a white crop top with some flowers on it. Susannah actually got me this shirt last summer when we went shopping towards the end of the summer! It's my favorite

I meet Jeremiah downstairs, he's waiting for me near the door.
"The princess has arrived" he says bowing at me
"Oh shut up jere!" I say hitting him on the shoulder
He laughs
"After you princess!" He says opening the front door
"Thank you kind sir!" I smile and curtsy
We get in the red jeep and drive to scoops. Jere and I love listening to music with the top down. And of course we had to play our favorite song! (No control by One direction)
