Shin Nabi had woken up quite early. She felt nervous and excited for her first day as a freshman in Yonhee University. "Nabi! My Nabi!" Her mother called out for the lady before she closes the front door. "Mom?" She asked. "Focus on your studies and look after Sunho!" Nabi scrunched her face and complained. "He can take care of himself." And with that, the Shin girl made her way to her car and drove to Yonhee University.
Before heading to her first lecture, History of Architecture, she waited for her bestfriend in the parking lot like they had talked about. "Shin Nabi!" There was Sunho's figure making his way to the said girl with a grin plastered on his face. Beside him were two girls, whom she recognizes but cannot pin point who they were. They soon left seeing who he was walking up to. "You won't believe who I just saw!" He ruffled the girl's hair earning a glare but he laughed it off and continued what he was saying. "Remember the delivery girl in the club? I saw her on my way here. She seems very interesting." Nabi had playfully punched Sunho's side hearing what he just said. "Come on, you're a first year pre-med now and yet your still planning on playing with girls." The Shin girl scolded and the lad could only pout. "Stop acting like a big baby." Nabi took her bag inside the car and walked away from Sunho which followed her shortly afterwards. "But no one has rejected me before! Well, except for you. I still can't believe you did that infront of everyone." The taller one said and Nabi could only sigh at his antics. "Firstly, the whole 'she's not like other girls' is really annoying. She rejected you for a reason! She might've thought you were a huge jerk which is kinda true. You know, the picture and everything. Secondly, who told you I saw you in a romantic way? At least it was in first grade, our classmates must've forgotten about it, so you don't need to feel embarrassed by it." Nabi looked at the lad with the puppy eyes with a blank face. She was clearly used to this childish attitude of Sunho. "You're so mean. I'll just see you later." He went off with scrunched brows and the girl could only chuckle at his annoyed face.
Her first lecture went by quite fast. The professor was quite chill and didn't seem like the old grumpy ones. He explained the grading system, what lessons they should expect for the first semester, and how many projects they should expect. Everything seemed easy to Nabi after having to go through advanced lessons that were recommended by her mother.
"Hey, is there a Kim Hyeojun in this class?" An unfamiliar guy asked as Nabi was on her way out of the lecture hall. "I think so? If he's a first year architect major then, I guess so?" She discreetly examined the guy infront of her. Her gaze stops at the sight of pre-med books that looked similar to Sunho's. "Not a people's person? Thanks though! I'm Min Jaewon." The said 'Jaewon' guy extends his arm for a handshake and Nabi only raised her brow at it. Thankfully, saving Jaewon's ego, Jin Sunho had arrived at the scene and let out a chuckle. "You really gotta stop shutting people down, Nabi." Sunho ruffled her hair once more, it was definitely something she'll never get used to. "Oh! Hey, you're in my Biochemistry class!" Jaewon pointed at the taller lad beside the girl and smiled. "Really? I didn't notice you." Sunho deadpanned the guy, clearly not interested. "Hypocrite jerk" Nabu whispered but it was obvious that the two guys had heard her. "Okay...I see you two have some sort of love-hate relationship. Couple goals...I think?" Jaewon pointed out and the duo could only give him a quizzical look. "I think you got us wrong- the love-hate part is true but we're not romantically together." Sunho pointed out and Nabi nodded. "Oh...my bad for assuming." Jaewon smiled apologetically.
After a moment of awkward silence between them, the Kim Hyeojun whom Jaewon was looking for exited the lecture hall. "Goodbye then!" He bid the two goodbye. Nabi slightly nodded with no signs sincerity whilst Sunho just smiled. "He seems interested in you." Sunho pointed out to which the girl ignored and walked away.
