KRYPTON'S DESTRUCTION CAME on March 1st, 1986. It was located 2,000 light years from Earth, orbiting an old red dwarf star called Rao. The planet was separated into guilds and ruled by a council.

Each family had a unique gift, which is why the union of two families was always so great. No Kryptonian married one that could not be their life mate, the one they would be with forever. Children were the greatest gift of all, for each family was lucky if they have more than one child.

The planet was large, with buildings reaching the clouds and other's floating into the clouds. Ships were everywhere at all points of the day, but it was relatively silent.

Kryptonians were an elder race, one of the first. They had 3.2 Billion years before life emerged on Earth which shows just how cultivated the culture truly was.

Two families joining before the planets destruction was one of the most celebrated, even more so than when the elder brother of the paternal family had found his mate.

Zor-El had found his mate in Alura Tal-Nox and welcomed a daughter not long later. Kara-El or Kara Zor-El.

The House of El and the House of Val had joined. The House of El were gifted with Energy Manipulation while the House of Val was an aquaticically gifted family, each person having their own unique aquatic adaptation.

Jor-El and Lara Sai-Val had a daughter after years of trying, a girl they named Kala-El or Kala Jor-El. Lara herself held a powerful gift, she could shape and harden water.

Kryptonians exhaused the planets resources until its energy core grew unstable. Amidst the chaos caused by the impending death of the world, Jor-El and Lara Sai-Val sent their newborn daughter on in a pod.

KALA TRAVELED FOR nearly four years and while she slept in her pod, her mind and body developed.

It was a piece of technology Jor-El had created where as long as she wore the headband scarf while she slept, she would be trained by her ancestors in her dreams which would translate that muscle memory back to her body.

As the small town called Smallville in Kansas was struck by meteor showers of the remains of Krypton, Kala-El's ship crashed into Miller's Field awakening her.

She opened her eyes, a sharp cyan in color before looking around. Her pod was nanotech and could be controled by her stele, which rested in the center of her ship. She carefully took off her headpiece and set it into the blanket before tucking her stele into her tight curls watching as the ship reverted to it's natural form and opened.

She jumped out gracefully, slowly descending to the ground as she adjusted to the soft conditions around her. The air was lighter, the gravity weaker, even the temperature was softer.

She looked around, her long white tunic nearly brushing the ground. She lifted her skirt and wiggled her toes in the girl and giggled at the feeling.

Her senses were in overload as she had been warned they would be. Her gift from the House of El was more powerful than any. She could choose the type of Energy she manipulates and generates so she had been under Solar Energy since birth, specifically Yellow Solar Energy.

Her skin glimmered as she shifted back and forth between diamond skin and the regular Kryptonian skin. She closed her eyes and centered herself before opening her eyes with normal skin.
