Finally. The last race of the season. Charles can't win the championship but he can fight for second place.
You arrive at the paddock with Arthur and Julian at 12:15 pm. Charles had left at 8:45 so he could arrive at nine.
As you and Arthur walk through the paddock Ted asks you for an interview for Teds note book. "Hi, y/n I see you've brought your son today." "Yeah it's his third race here and I think he's enjoying seeing his daddy race" "are you proud of what Charles has achieved on top off being a father" "what ever he does I'll be proud of him" "speaking of Charles here he is" "mon amour I've been waiting for you!" He says kissing you then Julian's head. "We've got all the Leclerc with us today. Arthur what's it like being an uncle?" "I love it, it's a really good experience and I think me and Julian have a lot in common!" He laughs "Charles how are you preparing for the race later today?" "Well I'm getting in a bit of training and I'm seeing my family and my race engineer a lot until I get in the car." "Thank you guys I hope to see you soon" "thanks Ted"
You all walk to Charles's drivers room and sit with him until he has to get ready for the race. You Arthur and Julian go to the pit box and put headsets on ready to watch the race. "Oh my gosh Y/n!" "Carlos!!" You hug him. "Is this Julian?" "Yeah" "Awh he's so cute, I need one of my own!" "I think Isa has to agree first" you laugh. "Hey I've got to go but I'll see you later" Charles walks up to you and give you a kiss "good luck, we know you can do it" he gets in the car and the race starts.
*AND ITS LIGHTS OUT AND AWAY WE GO, LECLERC AND VERSTAPPEN GET OFF TO A GOOD START.*
*LAP 50 IS STARTING AND WE ONLY HAVE 8 LAPS TO GO. LECLERC AND PEREZ ARE FIGHTING FOR P2 WHILE VERSTAPPEN IS WAY AHEAD!*
*A REBULLS GONE OF, ITS VERSTAPPEN IN THE WALL! HES SPUN OFF!*
*THERES NO COMING BACK FROM THAT IT LOOKS AS THOUGH LECLERC IS PULLING AHEAD*
"Come on Charles.." You and Arthur rush to the fence to see who will win. You see the cars coming round the corner..
*AND ITS LECLERC WHO GRABS FIRST PLACE!*
*CHARLES LECLERC HAS WON THE ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX, THE SEASON IS OFFICIALLY OVER!*
You see Charles doing donuts with Checo Daniel and Seb. They all get out of the cars and Charles runs over to you. "I love you y/n!" He says kissing you passionately "I love you more honey! Im so proud of you!"
