Wilbur's POV

Life was boring nowadays. There was nothing to do. Tommy rarely visits the van, and when he does I make the most of it. It's usually only once a month.

If Tommy's not around, I usually just lay in bed, go on my phone, wonder around, and sleep. But there is one place that somewhat entertains me.

Las Nevadas.

I decided to go there for a day. I'm banned from going there but I go there way too often, at this point I'm not even banned anymore!

I decide to bring my phone and guitar. Did I mention I used to be in a band? Well back then, before L'manberg I was in a band called Lovejoy. I really loved it and loved to perform. But we had to disband because we had our own ways to go.

People were really sad, especially us. But we knew we had to.

Anyways I picked up my guitar and walked out the door to Las Nevadas.

~~~~~
I reach Las Nevadas and step in it's territory. Huh, seems pretty empty, I thought. Not a person or animal in sight.
I decide to head to the little garden area in Las Nevadas.
I sit down on a bench and place my guitar next to me. There were a bunch of flower everywhere, like every flower I could think of! Seems like someone's been taking real good care of them.
I smile and pick up guitar. I decide on playing "Concrete". I start picking at the string and strumming at them. The tune started to come together. It was a little harder to play because I didn't have the rest of the band to play with me. But I managed it.
Then it was time for lyrics.
"An-"
"Anymore words? Think you've spoke enough." A beautiful voice sang. I decided to just play and listen to the voice.
"Cos the pubs are empty, and they're closing up. When you're spitting spite fast as saliva~ But with the prose of a standard English drunk she says,"
"I hope the saltwater ruins your clothes, and I hope you spend the rest your life sleeping alone. I hope the problems make your life harder~ Sit stubborn in your stomach like your kidney stones and yet-"(They're singing together)
Then the mysterious voice turned the corner, it was Quackity.
"Wilbur! What are you doing here?!"
"Playing guitar, you?"
"Watering my flowers." He says with a watering can in his hand. He then walked over to a patch of flowers and tipped over the watering can making water droplets fall down.
"I really like your flowers... Flower boy."
"Thanks." He says. This time, he didn't have attitude or annoyance in his voice. He sounded happy?
I continued to play guitar while Quackity sang along and watered his flowers.
After a little he finished and sat down next to me and sang until the song was over.
"Hey Q, you have a beautiful voice." I said placing my guitar on the floor.
"You think so?"
"Yes, I could listen to it all day!"
Quackity giggled and rested his head on my shoulder. It was nice. No yelling, no arguing, just us. We stayed in that position while watching the sunset, it was beautiful. But not as beautiful as the duck sitting next to me- Wait what am I thinking?! I don't like Quackity! I'm just lonely. Right...?
After the sunset it was now starting to get dark. Quackity lifted his head from my shoulder and looked me right in my eyes.
"Hey, this was nice. Do you... Maybe want to do this another time?" He asked.
"Of course, I enjoyed it. So, are we friends?"
"Sure if you want." With that I hugged Quackity.
"I'd love that."
He hugged back and it was silent once again. After a little we let go and said our goodbyes and went our separate directions.
I got back to the van, it was quiet and empty. No joy, not like now I felt with Quackity. Why do I get that weird feeling when I'm with Quackity? Like I have butterflies in my stomach... I'm just being clingy right?
