It takes time to fully understand that Midoriya Izuku does not exist that he was just only a fictional character in the book.
Gran Torino was the first one to learn about that. He didn't know how to react or say everything happens seems so real.
He never guessed that someone has the capability of making fictional characters to live and to be alive.
Alive in their mind not in physical world. How can someone do that?
He wasn't expecting to discover that. He never liked that. He never knew that he can solve their problem easily but saying the things he discovered.
Though can they believe what he will going to say? It wasn't easy to accept especially that some people have encountered Midoriya, the fictional character.
“ Just stop fighting. What we are fighting isn't actually reasonable ”
He needed to say this or this war will never end.
“ What are you talking about? Izuku’s life is in the line here ” Tsukauchi yells making it some heroes to be curious
“ You don't understand. Midoriya Izuku isn't real. He wasn't your son. He wasn't really alive. He wasn't here. He will never be real. He was an illusion created by someone ”
There he said it. Gran Torino saw confusions and anger. He wasn't going to lie. He felt terrible knowing the truth but it is better if the fight stop.
“ What the hell are you talking about? He is real ”
Aizawa rarely shows his emotions and now is one of them.
“ So where is he now? Do you think that if he is real he wouldn't just disappear without leaving anything behind? Look around you Aizawa. Even the villains don't know where he is. None of them remember who he is. Only the hero side remembers him. Do you know the reason why? ”
This isn't supposed to happen. Their son isn't real? How come?
“ There's someone helping us to win. There's someone giving his life to save the other people. Any minute by now he could be dying or he is already dead. That's how much sacrifice he does for everyone. He knew that his quirk isn't the best but he did his best to help us in order to get rid of the villains. Are we going to waste that? ”
“ We need explanation for this ”
Nedzu isn't dumb. He knew that from the start and tried to use it as an advantage but he didn't calculate that the quirk is too powerful.
‘ Next time, I will ask him to stop giving me problems and I guess I need to visit him again ’
