•Third Person:
Kevin enters the dim room crowded by medical machines, a small chair, and a tinted fluorescent light hanging over the recovery bed, making his love look almost angelic, even though the room is bland well it's a hospital so Kevin would expect nothing less but knowing Streber, it doesn't fit to see him here or maybe it's that Kevin wished he never would.

Kevin had brought a bag of some of Strebbers stuff that he didn't have with him then he proceeds to step quietly towards the bed and gently sat on the chair to the right not wanting to be too loud, Streber was asleep Kevin could only imagine how exhausted he would be so he thought it would be better if he let him sleep even if it was for the whole time Kevin would be there, Kevin didn't need to talk to Streber he just needed to be there and see that he's okay

Kevin places his hand on Strebers and lays his head down next to his lap it feels as if a weight has been lifted off his shoulders and now that he can hold onto Streber, it's like a release causing Kevin's eyes to tear up, he used to enjoy Halloween but these past years only bad things seem to happen, he's grown to hate the holiday either out of fear or annoyance. Well he doesn't wanna deal with Skid and Pump cause they're an annoyance but also he's scared of what'll happen to him or what would happen to Streber

He feels guilty for not getting to Streber sooner I mean he was at a haunted house they're other people there how did they not notice anything about Streber also people going in and out of the haunted house how could not one person notice, Kevin clenches some of the blanket in his fist, but immediately releases and sits up hearing a groan and some shuffling from the bat boy above him

"Kevin?"

Streber's voice was raw and his words were slurred but Kevin welcomes him awake with a smile or at least as much of a smile as he could muster, some leftover tears fall down his now-red cheeks causing him to wipe his face quickly

"Were you... crying?"

"Yeah but- It's no big deal I'm just... glad to see you"

Streber takes his hand from under Kevin's and places it on his face using his thumb to wipe away tears but this action caused only more to fall through

"Kevin wha-"

Before Streber could finish Kevin moves in gently and hold Streber, as much as he wants to squeeze him, he holds him loosely, he doesn't wanna cause him any pain. Pulling away softly, Streber looks at him, his smile weary

"Kevin, you should've told me you were gonna come here I wouldn't have fallen asleep"

"Okay, and how would I do that?"

"Just text me on my phone"

"Where is your phone?"

"Uhhhh... It's ummmmm... somewhere"

"It's with your other stuff"

Kevin points to a table in the corner with a bag of Streber's stuff

"Did you bring that?"

"Yeah I got your stuff and... just put it there for you"

"Oh yeah I don't bring my phone with me to the haunted house, it kills the vibe but I'll bring it with me from now on"

"You still plan on working in the haunted house"

"I mean I enjoy doing it, I'll be more cautious"

"Okay, well the guy who did this to you is dead"

"REALLY!! I mean uhh how did he die"

Kevin chuckles at Strebers excitement well he was happy that the fucker was dead
