Diary Writing For General Communication

First day of freshmen orientation, 29th August 2022

I don't know where to start because I've never written a diary before, I think I want to tell a story about the first day of student orientation. That day I felt a little bit nervous, not about the senior or how the student orientation will be going. But I felt nervous because I didn't have any friend, actually I am kind of person who can easy to make friends, but I don't know why I feel nervous that day.

That day, when I arrived at campus there's so many of new students already because I almost late. And then, all of the new students had to form some lines, some students were busy to find their friends because they were separated, I think. But me, I just joined a random line because I didn't have any friend that.

After all of the new students formed some lines, some seniors came up and gave us an order, they asked us to walk heading to Unikal dorm. The situation was still not conducive, because some students were still looking for their friends. And then, we walk heading to Unikal dorm, after we arrived there, seniors asked us to join the group that has been determined a day before.

I was in Sarwista group, there in Unikal dorm's field there were so many seniors who brought a sign that written name of groups. I had to find a sign that written Sarwista on it, but I didn't find one. I keep looking for it, after a while finally I found it, the senior who had the sign didn't keep the sign on his head.

When I've joined the group, I started to talking to other, started to make some friends. I met many new friends there, and one of a friend that I met there, right now she's being my best friend, her name is Adel, but on the first day we didn't talk to much.

That day, was a long day and it was a hot day, we just sat there and listened to seniors who gave us a direction about what will be going on the next day. They asked us to buy some stuffs but with a clue, they didn't mention the real name of the stuffs that we had to buy, so we had to figure it out by ourself. And after they gave the list of the stuffs, we need to buy we can went home. That day was fun, I enjoyed it even though it was a hot day.
