Diary Writing For General Communication

Second day of freshmen orientation, 30th August 2022

Ok, so I still don't know what to tell so I decided to write about the second day of orientation.

The night before the second day, we, the new students were busy to find the stuffs that the seniors asked us to brought. Fortunately, it didn't take a long time for me to found it because the stuffs were easy to find around Kedungwuni.

The next morning, we had to arrive at Unikal before 6 am. Actually, I'm not a morning person so it's quite challenging for me to woke up so early in the morning, but I did it. I arrived at 5.55 am. When we arrived, we had to find each other who were members of the Sarwista group, and then we form a line.

But there was a member who didn't arrive yet, her name is Shintya. We worried about her, she texted that she will arrive soon but until 6 am she still didn't show up. What we worried about was there was one of our stuffs that she bought for us, so if she didn't arrive soon, we will be in trouble. Suddenly, my phone was ringing, yes it was her, she told me that she was in front of the gate and she can't come in because it's 6.05 am already, so I got out of the line to picked her up. When I arrived at the gate, there were two seniors there, I asked them to let her in, but they won't. I was arguing with them, then there was a senior came up and turns out he is one of my friends, I asked him to let her in, with a little argument between us, finally he let her in.

After all of the members complete, our senior who was the head of the group checked our belongings, he said all of our members brought all of the stuffs, good for us. After checked our belongings, he asked us to follow him, we were heading to in front of C building. There, we were had some materials to listen.

It was tiring and also boring, we just sat there and listened to lecturers from morning until afternoon. But on that day, I started to get close with Adel and we became a best friend, she's so friendly and funny, and we have the same taste of humor. On that day we felt like we already know each other for so long.

That day was a long day, and aboring one, but I'm grateful because I can get closed to Adel. I think in thenext story I will tell how my circle was formed, there are five persons in mycircle including Adel.
