Third-Person POV
Asuna and her friend Eugeo went to find Selka as she was not seen for a while. They went into the End Mountains where Alice violated the Taboo Index six years ago.
They were able to find Selka but there were also Goblins from the Dark Territory who captured Selka.
Asuna pulled Eugeo to hide behind an ice pillar while Eugeo was breathing heavily and panicking about the situation where they were currently in. Asuna covered Eugeo’s mouth with one of her hands to help him recover.
“Calm yourself down Eugeo-Kun.” Eugeo was able to steady his breathing while Asuna took her hand off of his mouth.
Asuna then looked around trying to find something that could help them escape. She was able to spot a pile of weapons scattered in a distance.
"I should be able to reach it if I'm fast enough." Asuna thought while Eugeo went near her.
"Eugeo-Kun, while I run past the Goblins get ready to fight." The strawberry-blond quietly whispered to the Flaxen-haired boy so that the Goblins could not hear their plan.
"Wh-What!!" Eugeo questioned her request and also lowered the volume of his voice, reluctant.
“At the count of three, I’ll run towards the Goblins and extinguish the torches to buy us time. After the torches are out I’ll pick weapons out of the ground and I will take care of the leader. While doing that I want you to keep them away from me.” She continued instructing the boy, glaring at him seriously while having a fierce expression.
“I’ve… never fought with a sword before.” Eugeo was a bit tense because of Asuna's intense glare.
“Don’t worry it's the same as using an axe.” She reassured the boy while taking a stance.
At the count of three Asuna ran towards the Goblins at an incredible speed, slamming toward some of the Goblins while Eugeo reluctantly, followed suit. Asuna ran and to extinguish the torches by sliding her feet across its stand.
Asuna arrived at the pile of weapons and did not waste time and started scattering the weapons trying to find suitable ones to use for her and Eugeo. She throws one of the swords that she found suitable for Eugeo.
“Just drive back any that gets close!” She yelled while Eugeo stared reluctantly at the sword for a moment.
Eugeo pulled out the sword that was dug into the ground and stood up, accidentally dropping the grass that was their source of light.
The Goblins got scared and started to back away a little. Eugeo picked it up and realized it and started pointing it at the other Goblins causing them to back away.
While Eugeo kept them busy Asuna was still finding a weapon, or a rapier to be exact to wield but to no avail. There was already a mess of weapons scattered beside Asuna.
She realized that there was not just enough time so she quickly unsheathed a longsword out of its scabbard and took a stance ready to fight.
The leader of the Goblins approached and threatened her.
‘You dare challenge Ugachi the Lizard Killer!” The largest Goblin yelled, which startled Asuna causing her to sweatdrop a bit.
She then looked at the still unconscious Selka regaining her composure and responded.
“No, I'm not going to challenge you….... I’m going to kill you!” She hissed back while still making a stance.
She charged at the Goblins at an incredible speed and started crossing swords with them one by one and defeating them.
