You wake up, the few moments of rest you got where nearly not enough. But you where used to not getting sleep so it didn't bother you that much. You didn't get much sleep after what happened these past weeks.

A few weeks ago you felt a sickening pull in your heart, coming from a great disturbance in the force. You where fine seconds ago but then in a flash you fell down your knees and gripped your heart. You weren't a part of the Jedi anymore, you had left after a few years of being a master without padawan.

You knew something had happened to the Jedi, and your suspicions where confirmed when the comm you had from your Jedi years started beeping. You still remembered every word Obi Wan Kenobi said.

This is Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. I regret to report that both our Jedi Order and the Republic have fallen, with the dark shadow of the Empire rising to take their place. This message is a warning and a reminder for any surviving Jedi. Trust in the Force. Do not return to the Temple. That time has passed. And our future is uncertain. We will each be challenged. Our trust... our faith... our friendships. But we must persevere. And in time, a new hope will emerge. May the Force be with you... always."

You pull yourself out of your thoughts focussing on getting out of bed, tears silently going down your face. Then you remember that today will be the day you start exploring the rest of the galaxy. Something so exiting but dreadful. Happy for the distraction you start prepping.

Even though you love your family that you had only been reunited with for 4 years. It was time for you to find your own path. You get awakened out your thoughts when your little brother knocks on the door. His innocent voice asking you what you want for breakfast.

As you dress yourself in your full Mandalorian armor you think about your destination.
It's many parsecs away from here, to insure you don't meet anyone you know. After breakfast you get to your spaceship.  Its small and old but it will do. You can't be ungrateful for it though, as it was gifted to you.

Inspecting the ship one last time your parents, older and younger brother stand next to you. Do you have to leave? Your little brother asked with tears in his eyes. You smile sadly, yes. You hadn't really addressed the real reason you where going even though your older brother and your parents knew. People got wind of a lightsaber wielder around, and one day while doing the groceries someone attacked you. There was a bounty on all Jedi's so this wouldn't be a one time thing.
You try to hold in your tears as you click the button to start the ship, and you really start crying when you jump into hyperspace.

~time jump~

You jolt awake by the alarms ringing loudly, a ship is behind you firing at you.
You didn't have a good enough ship for a fight!
Kriff! you exclaim when a motor gets hit.

You see on your navigation system that a planet is nearby where you could land.
Kamino.., you think. I never heard of that!

You prepare to land when your motor stutters another time.
The landing you where wishing for wasn't going to happen, you realise as you crash down.

When you make contact with the surface you pleasantly find out it's the surface of a landing platform. You where happy to see that the other ships there weren't damaged.
You didn't have the money to pay for them if they where.

Your celebration for still living is cut short when you see a few troopers coming your way. You make sure your lightsabres are hidden well between the stuff on your belt as you get out your ship. You wince when you see the damage done to your ship but avert your eyes from the ship to the trooper standing before you.

"I'm sorry mister" you say in your most charming voice. You cringe at your tone, god i hate doing this.
"My ship was being shot at for some reason and this was the nearest planet to land on"
The voice of the trooper sounds muffled when he says, they have become balzier.
Who? You think. Not wanting to ask.
