"are you ready" Alabama asked Jodie whole stroking her hair since he was laying her head down on her leg, while they were in the car on the way to the airport.
"yeah, i haven't seen him since our date, and i'm gonna be starting school soon" she shrugged.
"can we talk about something else please" Landon asked annoyed.
"no one asked you to come" Jodie rolled her eyes making Alabama laugh.
"fuck you" Landon rolled his eyes and put his airpods in and began playing his music.
"anyways, are you excited to be starting again" Alabama asked looking down at her best friend.
"you know i am, but i'm still not going inside the building just yet" Jodie stated.
"well when you do, make sure to call me so i can get me a college man" Alabama giggled.
"oh i was gonna do that anyways" Jodie laughed back.

when they finally made it to memphis it was 2:30 pm and the game didn't start until 6:30, meaning they had time to waste.
so they decided to head to the hotel that they were gonna be staying in. "what are you going to wear" Alabama asked Jodie.
"i don't know i gotta look in my suitcase" Jodie shrugged.
"what about you" she asked looking up at her best friend.
"i don't know, whatever vibe i'm feeling imma go with it" Alabama said jumping on the bed.
"no one's gonna ask me what i'm wearing" Landon asked annoyed.
"no cause we don't really care, and i'm pretty sure it's gonna be all black" Jodie rolled her eyes.
"Jodie don't act like you don't love when i wear black" he smirked.
"correction i use to love when you wore black but i don't anymore" Jodie said with a sassy tone.
