it's been three weeks since Landon and Jodie kissed. every time they got around each other they would either act weird or flirt. and that little game made both of them annoyed. so they decided to go out to lunch and discuss everything.
"hi" Jodie waved at Landon once she seen him.
"how are you" he asked pulling out her seat.
"oh thank you, and i'm great you" she asked.
"i've been better" he smiled.
"how so" she asked concerned.
"just too much going on in my life and after we kissed everything's just been confusing" he shrugged.
"yeah that's why it's important we talk about this today" she smiled.
the waiter came and asked them if they were ready to order and they agreed. Jodie got some chicken tenders and fries, and Landon got hamburger and fries.
"should you go or should i" she asked in between chews.
"i'll go first since i asked you to come here" he shrugged.
"good because i'm still a little nervous" she giggled making him laugh along with her.
"okay so as you know we dated around two years ago and it ended because i cheated with one of you best friend" he said making Jodie nod even though she couldn't help but feel said at the thought of it.
"well after we broke up i thought i wouldn't have to see you so that meant i wouldn't feel bad. but you continued coming around and five months after the break up i started gaining feelings for you again."
"i tried my best to get rid of those feelings by distracting myself with different girl and it worked for a while, but when you started talking to that mikey dude i couldn't help but feel those feelings resurface" he said looking at Jodie's face.
"i didn't know you felt that way" she said looking into those dazzling brown eyes that would make her fall in love every time she looked into them.
"no one did only my dad" he shrugged. "now your turn."
"well you i was really in love with you so when you cheated with my friend i was broken beyond repair. even though you broke my heart i couldn't stop myself from loving you and wanting to be with you. maybe it's soul-ties from you taking my virginity or maybe it's you being my soulmate but i couldn't stop loving you."
