Tyler's P.O.V
I was aimlessly walking down a colorful forest road. It didn't matter where I went, it just mattered that I got there.
The autumn leaves flew into the air, graciously dancing around in the winds before finishing their performance on the grassy land. The sprites were walking lazily around their homes, waiting for it to go dark so that they may go to sleep.
The little creatures hadn't noticed me. Strange, normally they would hide when a human passes by, but these ones seem so calm.
I need a sign, I need something to show me the way I'm supposed to go.
A strange melody was heard from afar.
Slowly, I turned to my left and began heading towards where I heard the peaceful music.
How did I get here? Where is here? Am I having another illusion?
A voice traveled in the air :"Does it matter? Live the now, child. Accept everything you feel and see. You may think that it is but illusions, however, it all exists."
My whole life, I haven't been able to tell the difference between my nightmares and real life. I would wake up, screaming my lungs out of pain. It hurt even more when you know it's just in your head, but you can't do anything about it.
"This is nor a dream, nor reality. We are someplace where everything is nothing. Only our kind can enter this dimension."
Our kind? What is our kind?
" We are... well, you will find out soon. Everything happens for a reason. If you were able to enter here, then it must be so."
"What are you? You are able to read my mind and I can't even see you."
A light chuckle was heard in the air, or at least that's what it sounded like: "I am the thing you are destined to become. No matter how many times we have tried, it always ends this way."
"So, I'm you?"
"I am everything. You will become everything. This might be confusing, but you will understand more later on in life. I can see your future, and in it, you hold immense powers that you will use for both good and bad."
"What do you mean? Please give me more information." my voice has been monotone since the beginning, and I can't seem to change it.
