Ellina's P.O.V
"What? What do you mean, lies?" my brother spoke to the empty chair behind him.
"Ty? What's going on?" I was reaching for his shaking hand right before he fell on the ground and clenched at his head, screaming out in pain. A girl next to the window screamed.
"The birds just died!"
We turned our heads to see the flying creatures just stop moving and fall lifelessly to the ground. My brother screamed once more.
"Tyler! Oh my god what the hell is going on! SOMEONE CALL THE INFIRMARY OR SOMETHING!"
"W-what the hell are you talking about? ARGH!" Tyler shouted, shattering the windows from the intensity. Most shifters plugged their ears as best as they could, while others fell on the ground unconscious.
Dianna ran to the intercom, pressing the button: "Yeah, we have a situation here. A kid went berzerk and is making our ears bleed with- oh you heard it?" her face went into a frozen smile before she began shouting, "THEN WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR!? GET SOMEONE ALREADY!"
I looked back at Tyler. He wasn't breathing.
He wasn't breathing.
"Oh hell no. You are not doing this to me. Not now, not ever!" I shouted.
I put one hand on his forehead and another one on his chest: "Anki mahia, id optimus tauko es illusinus de mortem, i fill sha poumo al anima!"
The air in the room began to move according to my commands, slowly seeping in through his mouth and nose, filling his lungs with air.
But he didn't move.
I began to repeat the spell once more and was joined by someone. They kept their magic identity hidden.
Finally, Tyler began breathing on his own. I sighed and fell next to him, moving a strand of hair away from his face.
"Thank you, whoever helped me." I left my hand on his cheek and closed my eyes. Images flashed through my mind.
I saw a little boy with blonde hair in front of me: "Big bro! Play with us!"
Someone took my hand and squeezed it hard. I gasped and opened my eyes to see Tyler's black eyes staring at me. Wait, black?
