How can she think that?

How can she say such a thing? How can she say 'You can see how much he wants you.' no I really don't see it and I don't want to see it either.

"Ell?" Harper said.

" What do you want Harper?"I answered.

"Well, Nick said that if they won the match today, there would be a party at his place." She said. "well, since they won, there's a party at his place today, and I wanted to ask you if you'd like to come with me?" She asked me.

"Harper, you know I don't go to parties." I said.

"I know, I know, but for once you could make an exception, please."Harper said. "Please, ell, come with me to the party today."She looked at me with the cutest face ever. How could I say no to her?

"Fine, I'll go." I said.

"Aaaaa yess!" She screamed. "We'll be leaving in about an hour, so let's get ready."she said.

Do I want to go?  No, but I have nothing else to do, so hopefully no one will kill me there. But I have one big problem, I don't have anything to wear. so that means only one thing i have to ask harper for help.
"Harper!!" I yelled.

"Yeah?!" She yelled at me back.

"I need help with what to wear because I have nothing at all." I said.

Harper always helps me choose outfits because my wardrobe consists of sweatshirts and sweatpants. And Harper is the complete opposite of me, her wardrobe consists of clothes for parties and for important events, you really won't find it in my closet. Once in a while my mom sends me an invitation to her party that she and dad organize for the business. so this is one of the few events where everyone will see me in a dress because my mom only cares what other people think of her, so it would never happen that I would come there in something she didn't approve .

So harper came back after about 10 minutes and gave me some clothes. I'm really glad that it was some normal clothes because I know what she has in her wardrobe.

Then I just put on light makeup and styled my hair and I was done.

After about 15 minutes we arrived in front of Nick's house and I was stressed because I don't really like parties where there are a lot of people so these things are always quite difficult for me and this was quite a bigger party than I thought.

"Ell, please be calm, nothing is happening, if you want to go home, we will."Harper said.

"No, don't worry, I can manage this somehow." I answered.

"Are you sure?" She asked.

" yes, I'm 100% sure. Now let's go." I said

When we went inside, Harper was pulling my hand because there were so many people, we didn't want to lose the other. After a while we found a group of people where there were people from the team and of course there was also the hunter.

"Am I seeing correctly?  Elizabeth Levine came to the party?" Hunter said, who else would say that, right?

"Nice to see you too hunter."I gave him a fake smile.

"Come on, dude , don't be mean to her, she just came." Some guy said. I didn't even know who he was, but I have to admit that he was very handsome.

" I'm Liam by the way."he introduced himself and smiled at me .

" I'm Elizabeth." I said.

"Shorty are you ok? I just that this is the first guy who has spoken to you in the last few years." He joked.

"hahaha very funny hunter." I gave him a fake smile.

Have I mentioned how much he gets on my nerves?

After a while I needed to go get something to drink so I told Harper I'd be back in a minute.

I was looking for something to drink for about 10 minutes, but when I entered the kitchen, I saw what I really didn't want to see.

"no no no ugh I really didn't need to see this."I said with disgust.
