I shut the door behind her. "Alright... Now, I have a party to get ready for." I said happily as i walked over to my closet. "I'll be back." I giggled at my fail attempt at a Terminator impression. As i entered my closet, I heard Alek's laughter echo through my room. I swear it sounded like something I could listen to all day and never get sick of.
Once inside, I began the search for the perfect outfit. First, i tried a pair of black ripped tights, bleach-wash black denim shorts, a black Jack Daniels over-sized tank top with a white cami underneath, a black studded leather half jacket, and my white Doc Martens. I decided against that one. I tried on four others before i found the perfect one. I settled on a tattered, black, knee-length corset-back dress; a black velvet(my favorite material) , puffy-sleeved cover-up; black lace tights, and vintage knee high Doc Martens. I took a deep breath and opened the closet door, stepping out. Alek was leaning against the wall behind the closed bedroom door, arms folded across his chest, staring at the ceiling. I sat down at my vanity and removed my usual makeup. I then brushed and re-straightened my hair. I decided to do a smokey eye and cat-eye liner with black mascara. I felt Alek's gaze and met it in the mirror, his icy blue eyes piercing through me, making it hard to look away. After a moment, i forced my gaze to the floor and stood. I went and stood in front of my full length mirror on the back of my closet door. After looking myself over in the mirror, i turn to look at Alek, who hadn't moved from his spot behind my bedroom door. "So.... What do you think?" I spoke nervously, He glanced at me but then did a double take.
"You.... You look amazing..." He sounded somewhat shocked.
"Oh! Almost forgot..." I hurried over to my vanity and slipped on my black lace finger-less gloves and a black velvet choker with a gold ruby and onyx pendant. I finished my look with blood red lipstick, careful not to get it on my snake bites. "There... Now I'm ready.." I struck a pose like a model but lost it as he gave me a wicked grin, wiggling his eyebrows. * I giggled as he continued. "Stop it! If I keep laughing my makeup will run!" He chuckled, shaking his head.
"Do you have a bathroom? I mean...Sorry... Where is the bathroom?"
I giggled softly,"Down the hall, second door to the left.." He grabbed his book bag and mumbled something that sounded like 'Thanks' as he left the room.
Hmm... Wonder why he needed his book bag..... ah well... Who cares?
He came back ten minutes later, hair freshly fixed, eyeliner a bit thicker, and a different shirt. He was now wearing a white button up with the sleeves rolled up, a black suit vest with skull buttons and a beanie on just over the spiked back of his hair. He was gorgeous. "Skar? Skarlett? Earth to Skar!"
"Huh? Oh... Did you say something?"
"Yeah." He chuckled,"I asked if you're ready to go..."
"Oh.. uh.. yeah.. Lets go.." I stood and slid past Alek and out my door. "Close my door..." I reminded him and slid down the railing of the grand staircase. We lived in an old Victorian mansion that, if not cleaned regularly, would resemble a haunted house or a vampire coven hideout. It had lots of empty rooms, considering my mom and dad split when i was ten and I'm an only child. Its just my mom, Jailbird, and me. I grabbed my leather jacket, phone, and keys and we headed out.
