Chapter Two

I shut my locker door and slung my bag over my shoulder. As I turned and started walking away, I ran into someone.

Ughh!

Pissed off as I was, I sat up from the floor and started to snap, "Hey! Watch where you're--", and the words were caught in my throat as I looked up.

...Alek...

I saw a concerned look on his face as he knelt down next to me, placing his hand on the spot of my head that hit the lockers.

His voice was soft and warm as he spoke, "Are you okay? It looked like you hit your head pretty hard."

I felt a goofy nervous smile play on the corners of my lips, "I'm fine..."

Alek smirked, "What's so funny?"

I started giggling and replied, "Oh, nothing... I just find your concern for me sweet considering you hardly know me..."

He stood and helped me up. "I never caught your name..."

I laughed nervously and replied, "Oh! sorry... Its Skarlett.. Skarlett Knight..."

Alek smiled brightly, "Such a beautifully unique name..."

I felt my cheeks start to burn, "Thank you... A lot of people think its weird..."

"People are stupid... Hey, you wanna.. I don't know.... hang out sometime..?"

And thats when my entire day turned around... I looked up in suprize, "Really? Uh... I mean... Sure! How about... Today after school...?"

Alek replied, "Sure.. Where?"

"Uhmm... well.... my mom works late tonight so we could hang there, or we could hang at your--"

Your place sounds good.."

"Sweet! Uhmm.... so... Lets go then...?"

"Oh.. Uh.. yeah.. Sure! Lets go."

We walked out of the school and headed to my car.

"Nice ride..", Alek said approvingly.

I laughed, "Nice joke! But I'd prefer turning into a bat and flying." Alek chuckled.

"Well, well, well, a vampire lover are we? I would much prefer running with wolves."

I smiled softly, "Wolves are beautiful creatures... Especially the beautiful snow white ones... Breath-taking..." His cheeks reddened as he smiled softly. I once again was lost in his eyes...... Oh, how beautiful he was..... the sunlight on his pale face..... his smile was absolutely flawless....... it was like the whole world slowed to a stop.

Look away! Look away... Before he thinks you're a creeper!

I quickly looked away, blushing. I unlocked my car and walked to my door; Alek beat me to it and opened the door for me. I smiled politely and in a posh British accent said, "Thank you, Kind sir."

He replied in the same accent, smiling, "You're quite welcome, miss." and we both threw our heads back in laughter. I got into my car and Alek did as well as i started the car.

Sorry this ones so short... i think its shorter than the first.... but the next chapter is..... like.... 15 1/2 pages in my composition book so... i hope that will make up for it........ i write what i want in each chapter no matter the length..... things have been hectic these past two months..... now i have school and everything so..... i will try to write more often now that i can get on my lap top to write...... Big Big thanks to those of you reading my story! the 11 views i have so far are the reason i put this up..... i never ever expected to have people actually read my story.... let alone 11.... i hope you guys like what my creative 15 yr old mind has come up with.....
