Harry carried Ginny through the threshold of their new home. It was a beautiful house in the midst of Godric's Hollow; in fact, it was Harry's parents' rebuilt home.
"Oh Harry..." Ginny said, realizing where exactly they were. "It's your parents' house..." Harry nodded. "Yeah."

Ginny carefully set down the plate of bacon and eggs, because she didn't want to wake Harry. Birds chirped their whimsical songs outside the kitchen window; the fresh dew made the grass glimmer like precious jewels. As Ginny turned on the Muggle news channel, she heard the soft "thud" of a newspaper landing on their doorstep. She pulled her bathrobe tighter around her to block herself from the morning chills.THE DAILY PROPHET, it read at the top. Ginny got out a Galleon and paid the service owl. Not to long after the service owl had gone, a beautiful snowy white owl swooped down onto Ginny's arm. "Hedwig!" Ginny cried happily, seeing Harry's pet owl. She carried Hedwig to her cage.
"There you go, pretty girl." Ginny cooed, closing the cage door. She then walked back to the kitchen to try to keep breakfast warm.

Harry yawned, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. He checked his bedside clock. 7:00 am. He cursed, quickly cast a spell that would make his bed, and hurried downstairs to the kitchen. He saw Ginny sitting at the table. "Hi, sweetie," she said, kissing him on the cheek. "You made breakfast?" Harry said, a shocked expression on his face. "Y'know, you don't HAVE to cook breakfast anymore." Ginny said, placing a hand on his shoulder. "I know," he said quietly, "I just WANT to." Ginny smiled. "Well, you'd better get up, Auror, because you have work today!" Harry groaned. "Do I have to?" He said playfully. "Yes."
