The tall, pale blue skinned being dressed in victorian fashion took a seat nearby the other. They smiled softly.
" It's like you were never gone.. Time passes so quickly. " The other said, chuckling softly.
" Not for me, Time passes like a dying clock. It's nice to see you again, Doyle. " Mallory returned the chuckle, wheezing softly. They took a cigar from the table between their two chairs, along with a lighter. They put the cigar in their mouth and tried to light the lighter. They ended up just fumbling with it, due to their shaky hands.
" Let me light that for you, friend. " Doyle said softly, carefully taking the lighter from Mallory and lighting it, then lighting Mallory's cigar. They closed the lid of the lighter and set it down after. Doyle smiled a little. " We have damage to do later.. "
Mallory nodded. " Let me- " Mallory started, but Doyle interrupted.
" You need smoke in your chest, I know. " Doyle smiled. Mallory smiled back.
