Chapter One

I started walking towards the high school i so fondly remembered after summer break had ended and walked right up to mike. "heyy" he turned around and his face lit up "yn!!" we hugged and did our hand shake. "Uhm what about me?" I smiled and hugged will then dustin then lucas. We all went to our lockers talking about what we did over summer break. Almost everytime people walked by us i kept hearing "apparently his name is billy", "did you see billy?", and "omg billy is so hot" mike and them didnt notice so i shrugged it off but then remembered theres only one billy in our high school and he barely gets noticed so there must be a new kid this year. I was set fr life on introducing myself to him and my thoughts trailed away on how i would introduce myself to this "billy" when i ran strait into another person knocking us both on the ground. "oh my gosh i am so sorry! are you okay?" i looked up after picking up my books and will helped me up. there was a girl ive never seen before, she had red hair and she was absolutely stunning. "yeah yeah im fine." "Are you sure i wasnt paying attention im so sorry" "yeah im okay" i kept looking at her trying to think if ive seen her before. "uhm not to be rude but whats your name?" "max. well its maxine but never call me that. its max." i smiled. "Well max, are you new here? I feel like i havent seen you before my apologies if your not" "yeah me and my.. step brother moved here last week." *step brother?!?* "my names yn and welcome to hawkins!" "thanks" i glanced at my friends and noticed mike was glaring at her and will was focused on his phone but lucas and dustin were starring at her. i slapped them "WHAT WAS THAT FOR??" "dont stare at her your being rude." i gave them a dirty look and turned back around but she was gone. My face turned to comfused as i turned around to see her skateboarding down the hall. "damnit i was gonna ask her if she needed help to her next class" *her step brother must be this billy person* "i hope hes in one of my classes.." (mumbled) "hm? What'd you say yn" i looked uo realizing i said that out loud "oh nothing just thinking out loud" we all started walking to our first period. mike went left, me and lucas went forward amd will wemt back. i sat down in my seat and noticed the principal was walking in and as soon as she came in she said "come one in billy i'd like to introduce you to everyone" my face lit up as I finally get to meet this guy everyone talks about. all the girls started whispering and i just couldnt stop staring ar him. he. was. gorgeous. "Everyone this is billy make him feel comfortable in this school. Yn." She smiled at me and i stood up. "yes mrs. ✨burbel✨ (i stole it from riverdale just spelled it differently)?" "Can billy sit next to you?" "Ofc!!" You opened the seat next to you and smile brightly at billy. "thanks..." i heard the girls next to me going "he even sounds sexy!" i rolled my eyes and sat down. "Alright students class starts in 10 minutes" i got out all the books i needed for this class then realized *he just moved here so he probably doesnt have books for the class* i glanced at him and he had his down down and was starring at the desk. "billy , right?" he slowly looked up "yeah.." *gloomy much* "do you have books for your classes?" he just shook his head slowly. "you can share mine until you get yours if you want!" he kind of made a dirty look and that confused me but i handed him my books and smiled as brightly as i could. "oh- thanks" i looked around to see everyone starring at billy. *i know hes pretty and all but damn scaring him on his first day* "soo uh do you like it here in hawkins so far?" "no" "oh.. why not?" he just looked at me and was about to say something but the bell rang so he looked forward. all class i could feel eyes starring at me from all directions and every time i looked the girls were death starring me but i didnt know why. i used to be so unnoticed :(. i was starting to get really uncomfortable and raised my hand. "yes ms l/n?" billy glanced at me "can i use the restroom really quick?" "yes but please.. dont skip class amd leave." he looked so tired lmaoo. "I wont" i said smiling. i went into the girls room and fixed my hair in the mirror and make up. i was about to leave when j heard boys talking in the hallway "woah. who are you?" i peeked over rhe corner and saw billy and steve talking together. i kept silent. "names billy. billy hargrove." "steve. harrington. tell me, billy you planning on trying out for basketball?" "come to think of it.. it happened to cross my mind, yeah." "dont. save yourself from embarrassing pretty boy and leave basketball to me." he said pressing two fingers against his chest. he chuckled, "we'll see about that harrington." and pushed past him to his locker and steve rolled his eyes and walked back to his class and i quickly ran back to my classroom before either of them could see me
