Chapter Three

     The door flung open and it was max holding steves bat. she looked furious and i instantly pulled away and he glanced at me before "can we help you" she came and stood in front of me and told me to stay there "what is wrong with you billy!?" he looked confused amd was about to speak but she cut him off "you have to take everything from me dont you!!" tears were rolling down her eyes "you know how hard it is for me to find friends and you come and try to get with my only one." he looked down, embarrassed that he was getting yelled at. "max its not his fault.." she pushed him on the ground and i gasped. "tell me you will leave me and my friends alone." he just glanced at me. she slammed the bat down so close to his 🤭dick🤭 and said "DO YOU UNDERSTAND?" he mumbled "I understand..." "What.!?" "I understand" he said louder i grabbed her arm and took the bat and threw it. i pulled her into a hug and she lightly sobbed in my grasp. i looked down at billy with worry filling my eyes. he smiled so fake i wanted to cry he looked so sad. max came out of my arms and ran away. *when i was at her house she said every school she goes to if she gets embarrassed or sad or mad she always finds a bathroom and hides in the 3rd stall* you helped billy up really quick. "stay. here." he nodded and you ran off.
you found max sitting on the bathroom floor just sitting there looking off into space. i sat down next to her and she put her head in my shoulder "max.. it wasnt billys fault.. i told him to sit on the table so i could clean him up and i never told him to stop and i-" "its fine. if he actually likes you i have no issue with it. but please be careful- he isnt very.. real i guess is what im trying to say" i nodded and put my head on hers but then i checked the time and saw it was 2am. i stood up and we both rushed to get out of the school and i told her i would be there in a minute. she nodded knowing what i was doing and went back out the window.
I found billy in the same spot i left him. "we gotta get out of here" i said walking up to him. he looked up at me and pulled my arm gently down to sit next to him. *omg hes so cute the way hes gentle with me* "yn im so sorry i pushed you.. I wasnt myself and whenever i get mad or if im in a fight i black out or something and do things i camt control and i always regret it. so basically what im trying to say is that i never wanted to hurt you and that im sorry i did." he said and i smiled and came a little closer. "its fine billy i didnt even remember until you reminded me." i have this instinct for knowing when people are sad and need some sort if hug or something comforting. i saw right through him and he has just wanted affection his whole life. i put one arm on his shoulder and then pulled him close to me and wrapped my arms around him and slowly rubbed his back. he hesitated but put his head on my shoulder and after a couple of seconds he sniffled. i slowly moved one of my hands up to the back of his neck. after a few minutes he pulled back and wiped his cheek hoping i didnt see but of course i did. and I grabbed his hand and helped him uo and we bith left out the same window. "i guess i should head home" you said smiling. "you told me earlier that nobody is awake and you dont have a ride home..." i shook my head "its fine its not a long walk" "no i can give you a ride if you want it" max smiled "i have a better idea." we both looked over at max "just stay the night with us" i looked at billy "you wouldnt care?" He shook his head "no you can always stay over" i smiled and we all started walking back to their place. once we got there i noticed a black car sitting there that wasnt there when we left "shit." billy hid behind the bushes. "thats his dad-" he said looking over at me "not the nicest guy youll meet..." billy said trying to go to the back of the house, us both following. "BILLY HARGROVE!" he jumped and whispered "yn stay here" i nodded and watched them both come out of the house. his dad looked angry and maxs mom brought her into a hug and asked if she was okay and whispered "you worrried me maxine" then billys dad pushed billy "WHAT THE HEL WHERE YOU THINKING?" max glanced at me and waved her head for me to come over to her. i walked over to max and we locked arms again. "neil its fine.." her mom tried to help "NO SUSAN ITS NOT HE HAS TO KEEP HER SAFE AT ALL TIMES AND LOOK AT HER. NOT SAFE LOOKING." he pushed billy again but harder and then harder. i flinched when he pushed him to the ground. he walked into the house "leave him there." "Neil.." "i said leave him there or you all can move out!" a tear fell from her eyes and max looked over to him and closed her eyes and mouthed "im sorry" "and who is this-" he said gesturing his hand to me. "oh its maxs friend yn she's staying the night" he smirked at me and max looked disgusted. he put a hand on my back and tried pushing me into the house but I stayed put. "Come on sweetheart lets go inside dont worry about him. he likes sleeping outside." he said moving his hamd down farther then i liked. "No." i said and glared at him. I looked back at billy who was still laying in the grass watching us. "i just remembered my mom told me to make sure i have my phone charger which i dont have. so ill get that and then ill be back" i smiled with anger hiddem behind it. "his hamd moved back up a little but he wrapped it around my stomach and started stroking it and i felt like throwing up. "alrighty fine cutie but be back soon its super late" i nodded and as soon as he went inside i ran to billy and helped him up and i asked him if he was okay. he nodded and went to the back of the house and started climbing up a ladder that led to a window. "what are you doing🤨" "going to my room?" he opened the window with like 3 steps and crawled through. "uhh good night then" i said and smiled and waved. "hold on" "hm? whats up?" "your coming this way" "why though theres a door right there" "my dad hes being creepy you noticed it too" i nodded and worked my way up the ladder and climbed in his window. "woah." he turned around after taking his shirt off "what😑" "your room is different than I expected.." he was surprised and thought i was saying woah since he took his shirt off "not used to woman not worshiping me.." he mumbled under his breath "hm?" "nothing🫢" max walked in "i told you to knock maxine!" she rolled her eyes. "I just wanted yn.. come on yn lets go" i nodded and followed her out to her room and he slammed the door. "KIDS!" max screamed "WHAT" and i heard billy yelling "YEAH" "COME DOWN HERE" max rolled her eyes and dam down the stairs while i changed into my sweats and tank too crop top {its comfy okay😫} and after a few seconds i was gonna go with max until me and billy opened the door at the same time and he looked me up amd down and smirked before running downstairs. i rollled my eyes and ran down the stairs. "ah yn" neil said "i hug everyone before bed so come here😏" "no yo-" he covered maxs mouth. "dad!" he looked over with his eyebrows furrowed. "what." "can you just please leave her alone" he let go of my arm and pushed billy into a wall "your gonna shut the hell up" billy spit in his face *hot* neil punched him in the face "try that again?" billy just starred into his eyes before looking over at max and whispered "you and yn run to the spot" neil turned around amd tried to grab me but max took my hand and pulled me out "no billy!" "im sorry" he answered with a smile.
"he said meet at the spot.. god what does that mean?" i thought while pacing back amd forth *the nurses office!* "follow me" she threw her hamds up but followed me anyways it was like a 2 minute walk to the school . we climbed in the same window we did before and she followed me all the way to the nurses office and i sat on the table exactly where billy did. "now we wait?" "now we wait" i smiled and she sat next to me and we just kind of talked for a while. we both fell asleep sonce it was past 3am and we were tired from earlier.
When i woke up it was 3:45 in the morning and i sat up and saw billy sitting on the bench just starring into space. "billy?" he looked over at me and immediately stood up and asked if i was okay "yeah but are you okay? what happened with your dad?" "susan stopped him and told him to let me go for tonight." "oh" i turned around and saw max was asleep still and i decided not to wake her. billy walked over to her and started tapping her shoulder and i grabbed his arm "let her sleep" he nodded and gently pulled me over to sit down with him. "i know max told you to watch out and make sure i have real feelings for you and i want you to know that im not like what she thinks." *he wants a hug obviously but ill wait until hes dont talking* "i have feelings for people" "i know. everyone has feeling for people at some point" he nodded and looked down *boom* i held out my arms and when he looked confused i put my arms around his neck and pulled him closer to me and he hugged me back. "you seem to give the best hugs" i smiled and felt him smile into my shoulder and we pulled away. "you guys are so cringey" billy stopped smiling when he heard max woke up "shut up" she rolled her eyes and got up "what happened with neil?" "idk susan stopped him" "where are you guys gonna sleep now?" i said kind of confused. they both started laughing . getting annoyed i asked "whats so funny" billy grabbed my arm and helped me up then max grabbed my arm and linked it with hers scowling at billy. "yn we just go back home just make sure neil doesnt see you or put on billys jacket" i blushed "billys jacket?" i looked over and he was taking off his jean jacket and handed it to me. "so he doesnt get all creept and stare at you" i slowly took it out of hus hands making our hands touch "thanks..." he nodded and started leaving the building. "wait if we were just gonnago back to your place why did you make us come here?" "didnt want my dad to touch you" "oh.." he looked at me and saw that i was kind of uncomfortable. "dont worry i wouldnt let him" he put a hand on my back and rubbed it for a second until he put his other hand on my chin amd lifted my head up to face him. then he kissed my forehead. and smiled i blushed and continued to walk with them.
