Prologue

??? POV

It was a gloomy afternoon – rain was pouring down like hail, making it difficult to see. I looked at my troops as they continued to prepare for the upcoming attack. We were doing the battle plan that someone had created while the hybrid council and I were at lunch.

'Eastern and Western troops will attack the enemy from either side and then the southern troops will attack through the center and take the enemy out from the inside out.'

Notch's voice rang trough my head for the millionth time. The southern troops, my troops, would be the ones with the hardest job. Take the enemy out from the inside-out while Enderious and Witheren attack the enemy from two separate sides. Sounds easy enough – NOT.

As we forged our weapons and prepared our forces for battle a thought struck across my mind, 'Who thought of such a flawless plan? Well it wasn't Enderious or Witheren so, who else could it be?'

My thought was interrupted by my lieutenant walking up to me. I looked at him as he used my 'formal name'.

"Commander Hiss, we have received notice that the Western and Eastern troops are ready to attack," my lieutenant told me "We also got word that we have a new sorceress."

"Alright, tell the other camps that we will soon be ready," I instructed as I looked over the camp's progress.

"Yes sir," he said as he ran off to tell the messenger what needed to be said to the other camps.

As I looked at the camp I saw the new sorceress by the blacksmith, handing him some iron and I saw that he handed her a staff in return. I walked to her and introduced myself to her.

"Hello, I am commander Hiss," I said as friendly as I could "I'm the leader of the camp and, what would your name be?"

"My name is Syria," Syria said "And I know the battle plan."

~ ~ ~ Time Skip 30 Minutes ~ ~ ~

We are finally ready to attack and I tell everyone the formation. As I look at the dark and gray sky, I realized that the timing was perfect to attack. I looked at the east and the west and saw that the other forces were ready. I looked at Enderious and nodded signaling that I was ready, I did the same with Witheren and I counted down and charged at the same time as the others.

I noticed that the enemy prepared for this and threw a grenade their way. I started to kill one of the guards and saw out of the corner of my eye, an Ender Creeper hybrid kill five people in the blink of an eye. I then saw one of the leaders of the humans with his lieutenants surrounding him. I charged right though the lieutenants and was met with the leader. I charged at him but he quickly parried. I then struck him in the left arm and right abdomen. Right after I got a blow into him, he yanked my sword out of my hand and threw it to the side. Right after, he shoved me to the ground and had his sword over his head. He was just about to strike when out of know where a barrier came around me and he was flung back by how hard he had just stricken the barrier. I soon got back on my feet and saw that it was Syria who protected me. I got my sword and saw that the enemy leader was charging at Syria. I soon jumped in front of him and blocked the attack.

I then soon threw the sword he had in hand onto the ground about ten feet away and looked him dead in the eye as I said, "I thought this was our fight,"

I then stabbed him in the lower gut but made sure that he didn't die. But I also made sure that he couldn't get on his feet without stumbling over and back onto the ground. I took him over to Enderious and Witheren who both tied his hands. Enderious left with him soon after to bring him to Notch to see what he wanted to do with him. Witheren had his recruits search though the place and said that he was going to claim the place and that he would be with us soon. I soon went the general direction that Enderious went and brought my troops with me to bring them back to the camp that Notch had so they could rest. We soon got there and Notch walked up to me. I told my troops that they were free to go and I walked up to Notch.

"Can I speak with you in private?" Notch asked mischievously.

"Sure?.." I responded confused about what he wanted to talk to me about.

Once we got into the tent that he made temporally he closed the door flap and placed a sound barrier around us so know one could hear us but we could hear everyone else within earshot.

"So how did it go?" Notch asked me once everyone had left and went into their tents.

"It went fine. If Enderious flying into here with one of the leaders didn't tell you how good it went than I don't know what would. But why do you ask?" I questioned since it was obvious it went good.

"How was the new sorceress?" Notch asked with a questioning look.

"Shes strong with magic, she knows many earth and air spells, shes smart- " I was saying when Notch cut me off.

"Yes I know that but, how do you feel about her?" He said with a smirk.

"Well, I think that shes strong with magic, she probably knows many earth and air spells, I feel that she's smart-" I was saying again before he interrupted. (Me: Smart ass much??? Hiss: Yes)

"Yes I know that but, how do you feel about her emotionally?" Notch asked like he was annoyed.

"Why do you ask?" I questioned him.

"Well it's been awhile since you actually loved somebody -."

"So what?"

"Come on man, you haven't had a love life in forever. I mean look at Enderious and Witheren, they both have sons and then look at YOU! You only have a life of war when its needed and what else do you do?"

"I rule a Kingdom."

"Well what else do you do?... Nothing..Look Hiss, All of the leaders in this camp have had a love life and then look at you."

"Whats wrong with me?"

"The fact that you show no love. Come on man and trust me on this."

"What if I don't want to."

"You have to because I made a reservation for you two to a fancy dinner."

"Why."

"So you could have some time alone with someone else."

"Does Syria know about this?"

"Yes."

"Really."

"Yep."

"..."

" Sorry for not telling you sooner."

"..."

"Come on Hiss, don't be like that,"

"..Bastard.."

Right then and there was a knock on a pole outside the door flap at the perfect moment. It was Enderious coming to get me because it was my turn to get the prisoner to talk. I soon left with Enderious and thanked him and told him everything Notch just said to me.

"Wow, well good luck on your date," He said mockingly.

" Thanks, and, don't tell Witheren," I told him and he nodded knowing I wanted to keep this between us (and Notch).

"No problem," Enderious said nudging my arm.

"Notch, actually no, Herobrine help me," I said remembering that Notch got me into this mess in the first place.
