"Calm down, everyone! I know you're all excited, but not so loud, please." said Mr. Merzanovich.

The kids were all very excited. The class was off to a field trip, and it wasn't some dull museum - it was Megadale's famous ice cream factory, "The Snowsweets". All the kids knew that the trip included a final stop in the tasting room, nobody could pass up the chance to get free ice cream. Even Mr. Merzanovich wanted to get something. He knew that the new taste is coming out soon and wanted to try it first. Speaking of new...

"Hamdon." he said to the twins.

"Yes, Mr. Merzanovich?" the twins replied.

"This is your first field trip with this school. I am sure you had trips at your previous ones, but it won't hurt to go over the rules..." with the word "rules" Guy zoned out. He had heard that kind of speeches so many times that he could recite them. Kelly, on the other hand, listened carefully, as she always did, looking for differences between the new rules and the ones of the previous schools. As the teacher's speech went on, so did the ride. Kelly found no changes in the standard school regulation for field trip outings.

Meanwhile, Guy noticed something else. As the bus approached the factory, which could be seen in the windows, one of the classmates was looking sad. His name, as Guy remembered, was Timmy Shiverstein.

"Hey Maz." Guy said to his friend, who was sitting nearby. "Look at Timmy. Why do you think he's so sad? Does he not like ice cream or something?" Maz looked at Timmy and then turned back to Guy.

"The ice cream is not the deal here, the factory is. Tim's father was the lead architect of the factory, he made many advanced features..." Maz sighed. "But not long after the factory was done, his father went missing. Tim was just a baby. This place reminds him of a dad he never knew..."

"Oh... That's horrible..." said Guy. He could imagine what it would be like if he had never known his father...

The trip was going on well. Even Guy was watching in awe at the process. Step by step the milky masses were poured together to eventually become a cream. It was then placed in the cones and was moved straight into the freezing area to finally become an ice cream...

The class just left the freezing area, heading to the syrup section. Timmy was left behind as he missed the order to leave, he was thinking of something. As he realized, the class had moved on, Jack and his pals appeared.

"Yo, Shiverstein." said Jack in his typical mocking manner. "Lagging behind here, huh? What's wrong?"

"Nothing, Jack." answered Timmy, looking away. "Just lost in thoughts..."

"Probably feel missing you daddy, don't you?" snickered Jack. "I heard he left because he felt too good at being such a big shot here and decided to find a better place to make a life. If I were in his place, I'd do the same. The last thing I would want is a loser of a son like you..."

"Shut your mouth!" shouted Timmy. He was now enraged by Jack's words. The reaction that Jack wanted.

"Oh, look who's crying now." he mocked. "Little Timmy misses his daddy." he grabbed Timmy by his hoodie. "You seem hot and bother, why don't you chill out." he tossed him in the open freezing chamber and laughed. One of Jacks pals leaned on the open door, and it moved, closing shut. Timmy started banging at the door, asking to let him out. Jack laughed and tried to open the door...

That was the moment Jack froze in fear. The door wasn't just closed - it was locked. Timmy's banging became more frantic with every second. Jack and his gang ran away in fear, leaving Timmy crying for help.
