Chapter 1 Pumpkin

Some humans have always said that cats land on there feet. Well, some do and some don't,some cats just fall and never get back up and some do get back up. And that cat is me! Pumpkin!

See I'm not your average Outdoore kinda cat. See I have always lived inside but sense my owner has just recently past. I now have to live outside! See I'm not used to all of the outdoor stuff. Like if I get hungry then I try to find a can of food or I just won't eat. Cause I'm not used to hunting. But, I think for a average indoor cat I'm getting used to being outside.

I'm walking up this cliff it's very high up and really dark too. I hear Moving in the bush so I quickly turn my head and look at the bush but, there was nothing there. It kinda alarmed me so I started to run as fast as I can and I warned myself not to look back!

As I finally made it to the top of the cliff. I felt much more safer then before. As I look at the moon it was red and beautiful it was a blood moon. Later I finally found a spot to lay down and rest for awhile.

The next morning I woke up to a loud gunshot noise, it scared me so much my hair stood up. I had no idea of what had just happen. But, as soon as I heard the gunshot I knew that I wasn't safe here So I got up and ran out of there really fast. And never looked back. As i got tired of running I finally stop and got a drink of water.

I had no idea where I was but, it didn't feel like home erither. I aroused my head up to look around cause this place didn't look good at all.

As I looked around and noticed that there was nothing there I layed down for awhile to rest my legs. As I was just about to close my eyes and go to sleep a tom cat jumped out at me! I jumped up as quickly as I could and gave him the death stare and he just stared right back at me. I asked "who are you?" And he said my name is Blacknight. And I said "what do you want form me?" And he said nothing, I'm sorry that I had jumped out at you I didn't mean to alarm you, I was just running away form the gunshots. I laughed and said "me to."

He asked me "what's your name?" And I said pumpkin! He said oh well, hi pumpkin. And i said hi um Blacknight. And he said "well, it's probably not really safe here. And I said "ya your right". And he said "follow me I know a really good hiding spot". So I took his word for it and followed him.

Later, we finally arrived I looked around to see if there was anything that I could lay down on. I turn my head to see if Blacknight was still there and he wasn't. It shocked me so I yelled his name a few times. But, there was no reply. It started to rain so I went in the hiding spot and layed down to rest. But, I hope Blacknight is safe wherever he may be.

The next, morning I woke up to the smell of food and I wonder how it got here. I sniffed it and looked up and saw Blacknight looking at me. I asked "where have you been?" And he said "oh sorry I was out getting food cause you looked really hungry."

I said "oh um thanks!" I looked at the food and back at him, and then I ate the food. Infill it was all gone.
