As you rejoin the group you notice that most look worried as Gojo and the curse battle head to head you lean over and whisper. "Should we step in?" Inumaki shakes his head as you watch Gojo continue to fight he battles with what looks like ease and no worries, you hear Gojo call out. "Oii Inumaki can you freeze him?" Inumaki releases your hand and walks forward lowering his face covering and speaks "DONT MOVE." The curse stops dead in his tracks you can see the fear in his eyes as Gojo approaches kneeing him in his stomach and dropping him he wraps his hands as Inumaki coughs walking back to you. You dig in your pocket and pull out some throat medicine for him. He looks suprised but smiles and blushes slightly taking it and taking a drink he sticks his tongue out and makes a gross face, you giggle. "I thought cherry would taste good." Inumaki shakes his head speaking. "I haven't had cherry before I thought it would too." His voice still sounds dry and cracked he leans into you and wraps his hand around your waist. "We're are we going?" You ask looking up at him. "Well Gojo will either kill him or take him for questioning so we aren't really needed I thought it might be fun to go on a date." You blush at him hearing that you didn't think you would actually get to go on a date with Inumaki you smile walking happily at his side he speaks again. "I sadly didn't have any time to prepare flowers." "That's okay I would be sad when they died because they are from you. Getting to go on a date with you is enough for me." Inumaki smiles he looks around before lowering his face covering again and kisses you on the lips. You kiss him back passionately as he pulls away it feel like you can feel your heart racing. You walk with him happily to sushi restaurant you sit and talk happily eating and drinking tea. For once in your life it just feels like you are a normal high school student on a date Inumaki gets up to use the bathroom you look out the window and think thoughtfully about today. This is the closest you have felt to normal in years you take a sip of tea before you hear your name in a familiar voice. "Y/N?" You look over expecting one of your classmates as your heart beats heavily in your chest. You look and see it's her. Your mom your cup drops out of your hand on your lap.
