Chapter 25

Even though Yusra was delighted, it didn't last long.

Saim had not complimented her on her appearance or recognised it, but his aloofness hurt her heart. He hadn't even spared her a glance, and now that she was searching for him, she discovered that he was gone.

Sighing, she sat down in the living room and watched Saahir and Ruhana talk. She smiled as she saw Ruhana's legs in Saahir's lap while he was massaging them, despite her denial.

"Did you find him?" Ruhana asked knowing about Yusra's search making her shake her head, "If you want I can ask Saahir to-" Yusra shook her head making her stop midway while Saahir asked about the matter.

Before Saahir could make a suggestion, Naman entered the room, causing Yusra to look behind him in search of a specific face.

"Naman are you free?" Yusra turned her attention to Ruhana before gazing at Naman, put his phone on charge, walking to Ruhana and taking a seat on the single couch.

"If there is work, then no I am not free, but if you are simply asking then yes I am free." Naman spoke giving a cheeky smile making Yusra to smile at him and Ruhana to roll her eyes.

"I guess Yusra wanted to go somewhere, so can you take her?"

Ruhana questioned while Yusra nodded her head turning to Naman making him raised his brows, "Where is Saim?" He asked her to which she had no answer, Ruhana responding on behalf of her.

"Okay, let's go." He said standing up and Yusra walked up to get her belongings with the cash that was handed over to her by Saad, rewinding what had been said to her.

As she descended, she saw Rania following Naman, already dressed, which made her grin. She had considered bringing a companion, but when she saw the girls soundly sleeping, she didn't feel the need to wake them up. However, as she looked at Rania, she was happy to have a companion.

"Are we going to the jewelry store?" Naman asked and Yusra nodded her head, directing him to the shop while Rania comfortably sat on her lap, her gaze wandering outside, while the two fell silent.

Tired from his busy schedule, Saim grumbled as he got out of his car. He had received a call from their work place, shortly after they had arrived home, asking him to verify a document along with his needed signature since it was the master copy that needed to be sent to their client. To avoid having to report to work the following day, he worked for an additional hour as he had already been there.

He looked around after seeing the unusually quiet surrounding and scowled before his eyes settled on the couple in the living room.

"Where is everyone?" He questioned Saahir, noticing him doing his husband duty, making him look for his wife, "Everyone is having their afternoon nap, might get up in sometime." Saahir answered before turning to Ruhana who pulled her legs away sitting straight while he helped her.

"Guess you can get some peace while Rania is asleep." Saim grinned moving a little in his seat to make himself comfortable, "She isn't sleeping, she went out with Naman and Yusra."

The comfort he had just gained vanished as he sat up straight curious, "Where?" He questioned not hiding the curiosity while Ruhana and Saahir seemed to have not noticed it as they were busy arranging the pillows for her.

"I don't know but Yusra wanted to go somewhere. She looked for you but when she didn't find you, I asked Naman to do the needful and he took Rania along with them." Ruhana answered while Saim checked for his phone to find a missed call from Zara, that he had witnessed but had chosen to ignore, making him growl internally.
