I'd woken up from a quite vague nightmare, though it was still broad enough in my mind to remember.
I sat up in my large, king sized bed, wiping the new beads of sweat that had formed on my forehead. Shivering as my room had suddenly become colder, I glanced over at the window, then recalling that I didn't close it last night.
I let my feet swing off the edge, sighing softly as I looked at the time on the clock.
It read 8:45am, not even close to the time I'd have to wake up when I'd go to work every morning..
I'd been fired a week ago, today.
Note to self; Never build up enough courage to speak back to an old man at work. It'll only make the man(if he's skilled enough.), get even more mad and say the 3 words that no one really wants to hear when they need cash! "You are fired,"
It's dreadful, it really is.
Anyway, I'm Victoria Carter, I'm 23 years old and I'm quite good with negotiating.. Except with an old man, about your job.
I used to work for Cooper Industries, it's a well known company that sells computer products to the stores, after the company shipped them to us.
But, my good pay and all of my hard work had been a waste of time, clearly.
Today I've set a goal to actually use my gym membership, to maintain a healthy and happy lifestyle, and to actually find a nice, good looking man that accepts me, for me.
Unlike the last jerk, Evan, who screwed me over for my fairly average home, and my Pale Blue 1965 Mustang Fastback that I cherished with everything I had.
Years of work put into that.
I know now, that I've got to think before I fall too quickly. I have to be cautious and I have to make sure I trust the man...
I decided that it was time to get my ass up and close the window. I had to take a shower and go hand out a few resumes before I headed over to the gym for a small workout.
Wait, maybe I'd have to buy gym clothes first?!
I'm going to look like the most unproductive person at the damn gym, trying to figure out how to work the machinery and such.
I'm a dim-wit.
