Harry loved me.

I stayed up all night, trying to process those words. I sat on the couch all night and thought.

I wondered how someone so rich, could love me. We've only known each other for 2 weeks! It's just so impossible.

Harry walked down the stairs, in his suit, hair combed back neatly, but I could still tell her felt like shit.

He didn't even acknowledge me. He didn't see me. He only made his way to the kitchen and made himself some coffee and then proceeded to put on Oscar's leash to take him outside for a pee.

He let out a sigh and he rubbed his eyes, walking outside.

I decided it was time to go take a shower, I'll catch up on sleep at the office, I thought.

The drive to the office was silent. This time, awkward. Harry's jaw clenched, me fiddling with my fingers and staring into my lap, yawning every couple of minutes. I was beat.

Harry had glanced at me every time we stopped at a red light, but then directed his gaze back to the road.

I need to get him out of my mind. He is my boss.

I kept playing that over and over in my mind, but no. Nothing is working.

Little does he know, I'm in love with him, too..

I was wondering if I should tell him or not.. I believed that I should, but I was too afraid. Maybe I'd send him a note, or I'd text him.. I just can't tell him to his face.

As we arrived to the office, I'd gotten out of the car, not waiting for him, as I did days the days before. I'd just walked into the office and got on the elevator. That's the only thing I'd wait for. That's kind of, common courtesy?

He thanked me and he stared at the floor.

He should be happy, he owns the f ucking NFL. I should be happy, I'm th vice president of the NFL. Things aren't right.

We got off the elevator, still silent as I walked up to Alyssa, saying hi, before making my way to my office. Yay, my office s so much fun.

I took a seat in my chair, pulling up my email, 0 new. Surprising.

I looked on my desk, no files. Even more surprising.

I have no work to do? Awesome, I'll sleep, like I was planning.

I laid my head on my desk, supported by my arms, closing my eyes. I actually drifted off into a slumber, my mind was surprised by that.
