I sighed in relief as I shut the door in Olivia's face. What the hell is the issue with her .Why does she have to constantly cling to everyone? And what does she mean by DOING ME A FAVOUR!
What favour can she do to me? Nothing! Except seducing and flirting, god i still don't know who gave her a degree and who hired her. I told her zillions time, to stay away from me,that i have a wife-
Not anymore - but still she needs to stay within her limits, i would've never shutted the door on a woman's face, but she?
She is a pain in ass, the worst one. And right now I don't have any strength to bear her, puzzles or bear her.
I was just working on this app code, i didn't realise the time, until my head spun with lack of sleep, and hunger. So I decided to grab something from the office canteen, and with the motive to drink an espresso, I opened my cabin door.
Revealing the lady, with her two punks. Max & Gargi! Discussing something.
I couldn't hold myself as I asked them what they were doing here, their head snapped in my direction, and eyes wide, as if they had seen a UFO.
They rushed towards me, especially Olivia, her heels clicking so loud,increasing the headache I was having. She ran towards me like a monkey running towards a banana,almost falling over me, until I backed away.
God!
I needa ask Manik sir, to keep her away from me, and the office after office hours. She literally blew all the codes that were running in my mind, replacing it with her weird hard girly perfume.
What does she bathe in? A perfume bottle.
I chuckled, at my own lame thoughts.
Until, Manik sir's worried voice hit my ears. "Nandini" the pang of worry rushed through me, as I pulled open the door of my cabin.
And searched for the owner of voice, tracing my eyes all over the office, he was standing at the threshold holding the glass door panting, calling out for Nandini.
"What happened to Nandini?" I asked him, walking towards him, worried rushing through my body.
"I don't know, I am just worried because she is not at home, and the GPS is showing that she is here, in the office."Manik said, panting, looking around while walking in the office. Towards his cabin. Passing me, as I walked behind him.
His steps slowed near the door, and so did mine, as I peeped from behind him, wanting to know what's the matter, the lock on the cabin door made me frown.
"Nandini" his loud shocked, panicked voice echoed throughout the office, making me run the rest of the steps towards the office.
I peeped in.
And the scene was enough to shake me to the core. The room had insects, not one or two but hundreds of them, they were on the door, some of the lizards, spiders, and roaches crawling down from the cabin door, in the office, some were there on the table.
Fuck no!
I tried to pull the lock off the door as I saw the only girl I care for, the girl whom I love there, hugging her knees, rocking back and forth, hiccuping, and sobbing, as the insects were on her.
Shit!
I pulled the lock, trying to remove it, but all in vain there was no key to it. Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!
"Nandini " Manik kicked the door for me. I looked at him, who was continuously trying to push the door by his shoulder. Crying!
Olivia!
Olivia!
Why didn't I think about it before?
That psycho lady!
"Olivia" I shouted, and rushed towards my cabin door, where Olivia was pacing in worry.
"Kunal! Kunal! Kunal"she rushed towards me, holding my hands as she begged.
"Please please please Manik sir is here, he -"
"The key Olivia" i ignored her words, as i demanded for the key, my heart beating fast. My eyes tearing up, remembering the condition I saw her.
"The fucking keys Olivia!"i shouted making her tremble as she handed me the iron key, without glancing back at her i rushed towards Manik's cabin.
Manik was violently punching, kicking, pushing the door, like some bird trying to go to her mate, who was trapped somewhere , he was restless, so was i!
" I got the key"I said, looked at me, and snatched the key off my hand, and unlocked the door, opening the door fully wide.
The insects flew off, revealing Nandini. The shadow I saw from the glass door is clear now, scared and panicking. I looked at Manik, who stood at the threshold of Frozen!
Tears flowing down his eyes, as he stared at Nandini, numb to react, his senses all flew away, as he saw the girl he loved in the worst state, replacing it with numbness, while his mind wished for it to be a dream. The one that will end,I waited for him, shook him, but he held the door handle so tightly, literally pressing his palm against the cold metal. shivering due to the tight hold, crying, gulping in fear, eyes wide.
I sighed as I walked towards Nandini.
"Nandini" I called out softly, she looked at me,and blinked tears marks on her face, along with fresh tears, my heart ached as I stood there frozen. Just as Manik, scared to move, wishing it as a dream.
No one wishes to see their love in such a condition.
She pushed herself up,and wrapped her arms around me as she sobbed my name, pressing herself against me, asking me to bury her inside myself. Away from these creepy things around her.
I did….
I wrapped my arms around her, as I rubbed her back, lightly, smoothingly. She sobbed burying her face in my chest, until I felt all her weight on me.
"Nandini" i broke the hug, another pang of worry flashing through me
Shit i cursed out loud, scooping her in my arms, walking her out of the office, towards the only couch in the corner of the office.
I rushed back towards Manik, who was sitting holding the door of his cabin, still in daze.
"Manik" i shook him! No response.
"Manik"
"Manik"
"Manik"
"Manik" i shook him for the fifth time, hard this time, bringing him back to life. He looked at me, gulping the fear, as he looked towards where she was before, and looked at me.
"Nandini fainted, and at this moment she needs you"I said , shoving the water I took from the machine beside his cabin.
"Go to her right now, gather yourself up, i know it's difficult for you to see her like that….but for now be strong …you know she is entomophobiac " he nodded as he pulled himself up, with me, rubbing his palms on his cheek, wiping the tears off his face.
"Yeah yeah" he gathered his voice.
"I'll call the doctor," I said, rushing towards my cabin, for my phone, while Manik rushed towards Nandini.
