Peyton and her dress ↑↑↑

I followed Asher as he guided me up the stairs and down the long hallway, while placing his hand on the small of my back.

We heard different noices from behind each door. And I cringed at the thought of what they could possibly be doing in there.

I was so deep in thought that I didn't even notice we had stopped in front of a white door.

Asher glanced over at me and smiled. "After you."

Right the 'lady's first' rule. I rolled my eyes but still opened the door and walked in with Asher following closely behind.

I threw my pouch on the desk, and turned around to face Asher crossing my arms. "Okay so what do you want to talk about?"

"Um, what about you? I don't even know your name, so we can start off there."

"Peyton Andrews", I replied back, keeping it short and simple.

"Oh cool. Like, Peyton Manning, the quarterback."

"Sure." I replied, not really knowing who he was. Well, if he had my name then I automatically liked him.

"Rank?" Asher asked me with his eyebrows rose.

"Middle-Class."

"Damn. Your in the middle class? But you're so hot, you would fit right into the 'Populars'." Asher responded surprised. He also air- quoted the word, populars, like I did earlier.

"So it's all about looks?" I asked repulsed.

"No, we're just a group of friends that everyone suddenly started to look up too. The looks are just a bonus." Asher replied, his smirk growing at the end.

Did this guy ever not smirk?

I checked the time on the clock in the corner of the room. It read 10:00 . I had to be home by eleven and I knew that it would take me forever to get Rain out of this place. So, I thought about how I should go ahead and try to get her out of this house.

Connor, would make this even harder though. Considering, Rain's huge crush on him since the third grade.

"Hey. You know this was fun and all, but I think I should really go grab Rain and head home." I told Asher nonchalantly.

"Uh but it's only ten o'clock. It's not like you have a bedtime or anything, right?" Asher snickered.

"No! It's just that I, unlike some people, prefer to be early instead of late, so that I don't even have a chance to get in trouble." I retorted.

"Oh. So your that girl." Asher snickered at his comment and threw on his signature smirk.

I sighed loudly before reaching over to pick up my pouch, then turned to face him. "I really got to go. But it was a pleasure meeting you, Asher Brooks."

I was about to walk out when an arm snaked around my waist, pulling me back.

"What do you think when look at me?" Asher asked. All his joking side replaced by an intense seriousness.

Inpatiently, I tapped my boot on the wood underneath me. "Uh. Golden boy with the perfect life, who gets everything he wants." At my response he frowned.

"You really have no idea. Haven't you ever heard of the saying, never judge a book by it's cover?" He asked me in a dead- serious voice, looking straight into my eyes.

"Wait. I'm confused, so that isn't how your life is?"

"I'm only telling you this for one reason and one reason only. You are going to be my way out, tonight." He replied hungrily as he pinned me up against the wall, making sure I wouldn't be able to escape, I suppose.

"My father abuses me and my little sister every damn night. He gets pleasure out of our torture and it makes me sick. It's slowly killing me, inside and out. And when I try to fight back for the sake of my little sister, Kayla, he does unexplainable things that I can't even bear to explain.

Yet everyday, I put on a fake smile and try to live up to the expectations of the Asher Brooks.

I am constantly living through and repeating a nightmare, that I can't stand. And when you walked through those doors, you looked so perfect that I just couldn't contain my thoughts. And now I have decided that you are going to be my way out, whether you like it or not."

And with those words he stripped off my dress and lingerie and raped me.

When he stopped for one second, it gave me enough time to bawl my eyes out. "Please....s-stop I p-promise I won't tell anyone, j-just stop p-please."

When I finished my sentence, he looked anywhere but me, but then he turned to face me again with a smirk on his face. "Sweetheart, sometimes we do things we regret. And I'll probably regret this later, but right now, I'm just getting started."

And then he continued for what felt like forever, it was then that I realized that I couldn't cry anymore all my tears had left me tearless.

When he stopped, I was relieved because, I didn't think he'd ever stop, but I remained motionless because, I didn't want to have false hope.

Then he said the words that I never expected to come out of his mouth. "Go. Run." He said bitterly.

And those two little words were all it took for me to pick up my dress (so I could cover up) and my pouch, and then I was out racing through this maze of a house trying to find the exit.

I then ran as fast as I could, not even thinking about the burning in my calves and how out of breath I was. I just kept running until I felt safe. Then when I stopped, I looked around for something familiar and it was then that I realized I was lost.

Both mentally and physically.
