Rants and Horrible, Horrible Things

~Field Trip~

I had a boating field trip today. We went fishing and learned about stuff. I will be trying to remember what everyone said so I could write it all down here.

Part 1-Getting On the Boat

Instructor- "If you have gum or candy, throw it out now."

Me- *wonders if Oreos would be candy*

My thoughts- HOLY CRUD OH NO

I decided to bring the Oreos because they are delicious and bae.

Part 2- Leaving the Docks

Some people- "FIND A SEAT!"

We were on a medium-sized boat that was big enough to seat all of us, but it was packed.

Me-*happily finds seat at the end near people from my elementary school*

I'm calling them Girl and Boy because they were talking and I don't want to say their real names, so...

Oh yeah, I was sitting in the middle of them and they were talking over me.

Girl-"Do you even know how to fish Boy?"

Boy- *stares at Girl* Yes, of course.

Girl- Ok... How do you catch flying fish?

Boy- *gives her a wtf look* You (explains fishing stuff)

Girl- Um, no

Boy- HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW!

*silence*

Later...

Girl- "You know, some of my family is rich."

Boy- "Yeah."

Girl- "My mom's friend's boyfriend's mom (or something I don't know XD)... SHES A LESBIAN

*pause*

Girl- AND SHES AMAZING!

Boy- *staring at Girl*

Girl- SHES LIKE RICH SO WHENEVER I GO TO HER HOUSE SO HAS ALL THESE MACHINES FILLED WITH CANDY

*everyone looking at girl*

Girl- AND SHE SAVES ME THESE CANDY STUFF AND *starts talking about stuff Boy and I don't care about*

Boy- *still staring*

Part 3- First Station Thing

So, on the group we had stations and stuff to learn about the ocean.

Instructor- "Hello everyone! I will teach you about oceanology!

Everyone- wtf is oceanology

Instructor- *talking about stuff I don't remember*

Instructor- *shows us tools and stuff*

Instructor- "This tool is for measuring how deep the water is, this one shows what the color of the water is, this one tells us what is at the bottom of the water."

Instructor-"I will put you into groups and you will experiment with the tools."

*in our groups*

I was paired with 3 boys. One of them is on my bus so I kind of know him. The boy I know is Boy 1. Boy 2 is another boy that was complaining like half the time on the trip. -_-

Instructor- *looks at me* "You will hold the color thing" (there was a box with all these colors)

Instructor- *looks at Boy 1* "You will hold the rope."

Boy 1 and I- *holding the stuff*

*silence*

Boy 2-"I CANT SEE!"

I wanted to say "Well, I don't care so..." but I didn't .-.

Boy 1 and I- *moving away so Boy 2 can see*

*the group finds out the color of the water*

Speaker- "NEXT STATION!"

Part 4- Let's Learn How to Fish!

Instructor- "I will be teaching you how to fish!"

Me- Oh no

Instructor- "so you *explains stuff I couldn't hear*"

Me- oh SHET I'm dead

Instructor- "Everyone gather around so you can see!"

Everyone- *scrambling to find spot next to Instructor*

Me- *trying to see*

Instructor- "So you *talks about stuff again*"

Instructor- "Ok, let's try it!"

Me- WHAT

Everyone- *scrambling to find fishing rod*

Me- *finds one at the very end so I can't hear Instructor*

Instructor- *goes over how to fish one more time but of course I can't hear cause you know*

Instructor- "You may now start fishing!"

Me- HELP

Speaker- "EVERYONE FIND A SEAT! WE ARE MOVING THE BOAT!"

Instructor- "Ok, we will fish later..."

Me- YAY, THANK YOU

*blah blah blah... Moving boat and doing stuff*

Speaker- "NEXT STATION!"
