Lily enters the fruit shop through the back to see her dad by the counters.

"Hey sweetie, have fun?" The man says with a warm smile hugging his daughter.

"Mhm we went on Tania's boat with the boys" the girl replies back hugging her dad tight. "Busy day today?"

The man nods and the girl says her goodbyes and quickly runs upstairs to go into her room. Her dad was a sweet man, always welcoming everyone no matter how rude they were to him. He loved his daughter dearly and wouldn't know what to do if something happened to her.

Lily slips her shoes off and grabs her claw clip of the kitchen counter "was looking for this!" She enters her room to reveal a beaten up Jude sat on her bed.

Lily drops her claw clip on her floor and runs up to the boy "Omg what happened?" She questions hugging him tight. She held him and he immediately loosened up. "Was it your dad again?" She quietly asks.

The boy starts sobbing in the girls comforting arms. "Hey hey shhh it's okay" she assured him "it's okay , you're okay. What happened?"

The boy slowly let's go of the girl and looks up at her. "I can't go back there lils.. I can't.." he says barley above a whisper.

"It's okay..it's okay.." she says mumbling into his neck "Come on let's get you cleaned up." She says as she takes his arm and leads him to the bathroom.

She gets a wet cloth and gently dabs it on his face as the boy grimaces. Lily let's out a giggle. "Stop squirming it's just water" she laughs.

After the girl cleans up the boy he immediately lightens up a bit. Jude always felt more comfortable with the girl. He didn't know what it was, but she always always there for him, and he was always there for her.

"Does Connor know about this?" She says in a gentle tone

The boy shakes his head "no I don't think he's home, plus you're always better with this kind of stuff" he admits putting his head in his hands "god that's so cringey" he groans

The girl laughs scrunching her nose. She always did that when she laughed. She found it disgusting but Jude's always loved it. " come on let's go watch the bee movie"

"I was hoping for 365 days but whatever" the boy jokes as lily throws a pillow at his head.

"You're such an idiot"

Lily comes back into her room drying her long hair with a blue towel and sees a spread out Jude across her bed. "When I said make yourself comfy I didn't mean this comfy?" She complains moving him over so she could squeeze in on her own bed.

"I'm literally injured have a heart gosh" she says rolling his eyes and lily stares him down

"You're lucky I like you Jude , or you'll be out on the fucking streets with the rats where you fucking belong" she threatens poking his chest each time she said a word.

Lily lays down and nuzzles her head into the crook of
the boys neck. He smelt of weed and Dior au Sauvage, strangely comforting to the girl. He brushes her hair out of her face and looks at her eyes without saying a word.

"Omg what are you looking at you weirdo" she says laughing locking eye contact.

Without saying a word, Jude kisses Lily. The kiss was deep and powerful, neither pulled away, they enjoyed the moment whilst it lasted.
