I woke up in the log cabin that was often present whenever I was in my dreamscape with Kratos and stretched when I got out of bed before walking out the front door. Where I saw my father talking with...some sort of fair-haired woman in a yellow shirt.

Soon, the two individuals turned to me and Krato's expression lightened up quite a bit

Soon, the two individuals turned to me and Krato's expression lightened up quite a bit.

"Um...Father? Who is this."

Kratos grunted before he gestured towards the woman.

Kratos: "Son, this is your mother, Faye."

Faye looked down to me and smiled gently.

Faye: "Is that you Eíthürr? My goodness you've grown a lot!"

"Mom?"

Faye nodded while smiling at me.

"How are you in my dream? You've never been in any of my dreams before."

Faye: "Well...to be frank, I'm usually present in your brother's dreams...so I'm assuming Atreus is near you somewhere in real life."

Kratos huffed as he turned around and walked off to the woods.

Faye: "Don't mind him. He's got a thing for grunting."

I chuckled at my mom's words.

"Yeah, I heard that a while since he trained me to use your axe and his blades."

Faye nodded and she stood up and started to walk into the forest.

Faye: "Follow me Eíthürr."

I followed Faye through the forest and into some ruins where she got a small pot in her hands with some yellow nectar-like substance.

Faye: "So then, how did your transformation go for you?"

I blinked since I forgot that Faye was also a jötnar before suddenly remembering it.

"Eh...you could say it was dramatic...and had some unforeseen consequences."

Faye chuckled at me as she walked to a tree, covered her hand in the substance, and placed it on the tree.

Faye: "I could imagine. All of your friends simply ignore you and when you finally find a way to stand out, they get scared of you."

"Heh...unfortunately, reality isn't always going to bend to my will."

Faye: "That would be a pretty bad thing wouldn't it though?"

"True...I'd probably bring more problems than I'd wish for."

Faye chuckled

Faye: "Good to see that you're still thinking logically. Well at least they're actually feeling bad about the whole thing. It's always good to have some family with you, related or not."
