You were laying in bed, a pile of tissues encasing your hunched frame whilst you sneezed and coughed. Your phone started to ring, head pounding and ears hurting as you slowly moved to answer it.
"Hello?" you say,
"Sweetheart are you okay? You haven't answered any of my calls." your girlfriend replies quickly.
"Oh shit!! I'm sorry, I'm not feeling too great today."
A sneeze could be heard through the phone as your girlfriend sighs.
"Give me two minutes, I'm on my way with soup and tea"
"Wait no you don't have to!"
A loud beep rings through your ears as your girlfriend ended the call. She always acted like this, as soon as you show any signs of being somewhat sick, she rushes over to nurse you back to health.

Ten minutes went past as you laid there in agony, every breath tightened your chest and every cough made your stomach hurt. You heard a loud banging on the door, and you croaked out that the key was under the doormat. A few seconds later, your girlfriend came into sight with her arms full of tea, vegetables and your favourite treats.

"Sorry I'm late, I had to pick up some supplies." your girlfriend shouted as she walked through the door, kicking off her shoes and wandering into your kitchen before peeking into your room.
"Oh my God you're a lifesaver" you choked out, trying to push yourself further up the bed, but failing.
"No don't move!! I'll be right back with soup and tea" your girlfriend called out as she walked away.
"My favourite one?" You questioned.
"You already know it." Your girlfriend answered, giving you a wink as she did so.
A few minutes went by until she came back with meds, soup and tea all laid out on a tray. You smiled at her and then slowly took sips of tea, allowing yourself to relax with the warm drink your love made you.

"Thank you darling, you really didn't have to though" you smiled.
"Of course I did, you're my girlfriend after all" she responded.
She came and sat next to you, pulling your body into her chest and soothingly rubbed your back.
"Can we watch f/f?" You asked.
"Yeah I love that film baby, I haven't watched it in ages." She said, smiling down at you.
She reached for the remote and grabbed it, turning on f/f whilst holding you close.
Not long after she turned on the film, you began to doze off to your girlfriend's heartbeat.
Even if you were sick, your girlfriend could always make you feel better.
