Team Hell

Chapter 2

"Annie? Seriously?" Empress pouts at the name that she has been given.

Allas raises an eyebrow, "Don't like it?"

Empress shrugs before she notices her actions and begins to go down onto her knees, "Please forgive me, I will accept the name!"

Allas looks around to see other demons watching the seen. Becoming more curious of what is going on. He sighs and turns to Empress. He bends down and picks her up bridal style before walking away. He says to Empress, "I won't change your name, but do please keep in mind that others can't know your name. You are classified as a slave around here. I am only saying Annie as a cover up before we clear your name."

"Wait, you are going to help me clear my name with Queen Ursula?" Empress's eyes went wide.

Allas nods, "My wife was close to Queen Ursula, I wasn't. I never wanted to do anything with the royal family, but here I am. Having to make sure that the princess of Hell is safe and out of harm's way."

Empress looks down at her hands and notices that they are clenching to where she can see that her knuckles are turning purple. She looks back up at Allas, "How old were you when you got married to your wife?"

"It was arranged by my parents and her parents for me and her to get married due to her being the closest person to me in my entire life." Allas stated.

"You dodged my question." Empress furrows her eyes.

"12."

"You were 12 years old when you got married?!" Empress almost screams out. She inches closer to Allas's face, "How old are you now?"

"I am 16 years old now." Allas says while not looking at Empress.

Empress moves away from Allas's face as she becomes highly shocked. It has been 4 years since Allas has been married. She looks back up at him, "So, it was arranged by your parents and hers?"

Allas nods without saying anything.

"Did you love her?" Empress tilts her head to the left.

Allas stops walking and drops Empress onto her butt. He puts his hands into his pockets.

Empress lands hard onto her butt as she moves over to where she can rub it, "Oww. That hurt!" She glares up at Allas.

Allas stares ahead of him as he notices echidna demons are approaching them. He steps in front of Empress to block them from seeing her.

The demons approach Allas and they smirk at him.

One of them approaches him first. It is a dark red male echidna whose tail has been cut off by someone. He puts an elbow onto Allas's shoulder, "Hey Aly, nice to see you around these parks again."

"Gregor." Allas says coldly.

Empress shivers by how cold Allas is beginning to act.

"We can't help but notice that you got a little treat behind you." Gregor looks behind Allas's back before he gets elbowed in the stomach. He backs away from Allas as he growls at him, "What the heck, man?!"

Allas lowers his arm, "Oops, I must have hit you by accident."

"Mess him up, Gregor!" A young pink female echidna says aloud.

Gregor spits out a little bit of siliva before running up to Allas to try and hit him, but he ends up missing since Allas fades right through Gregor's punch. Thus, causing Gregor to go off balance.

Allas turns around and grabs Gregor from behind the neck. Squeezing his throat while watching Gregor wince in pain before throwing him towards the other echidnas. He put his hands back into his pockets, "We are done here, Gregor. Stop approaching me with every chance that you get before I make you regret it." He turns towards Empress and picks her up bridal style before walking away.

"Screw you!" Another male echidna says. The group of echidnas help Gregor onto his feet and watching Allas walk away.

Gregor spits out a little bit of blood this time, "I will get that wolf, even if it's the last thing I do."

Allas continues on walking as he nears his home. He looks down to see Empress shocked. He lets out another sigh, "Alright, what's up?"

"How did you know how to fight?" Empress says shocked.

"I had too. Everyone around me was dying and I had to kill them."

"Kill them?!" Empress says scared.

Allas stops walking. He looks at Empress, "Your majesty, my life should not concern you at all. I told you enough as is." He puts Empress down onto her feet as she looks up at him.

Empress says warmly, "I appreciate you talking about yourself to me since you know about me."

"I had no choice but to learn about you." Allas says correctly.

"Who told you about me?" Empress raises an eyebrow.

"We will discuss that, but first of all, we need you to get into proper clothes. Those rags won't hold much longer. Especially if you don't want to be a target for predators." Allas opens up the door to his home. He lets Empress in as she takes in her surroundings.

The house was as though it was any ordinary house, but the only difference is that there is a stack of newspapers next to a small dark brown wooden table.

Empress approaches the newspapers and grabs one. She reads on the title:

Allas the sinister wolf demon kills wife in front of Queen Ursula!

Empress picks up another newspaper that says:

Queen Ursula sends out overlord Allas to kill his rampaging wife!

Empress looks over at Allas who is staring at her with eyes that says that she isn't trouble for finding the stack of newspapers since they are laid out in the open. She looks down at the last newspaper which says:

Allas kills power fueled wife!

"I killed my own wife due to her being fueled with power, she wanted nothing but power while I tried to show her that there is more to life than power." Allas walks over to Empress.

"I-I'm sorry."

"Don't be." Allas takes the newspapers away from Empress and picks up the other newspapers before taking them over to a closet and locking them in there.

"Is there anything that I can do to ease your pain?" Empress walks up to him.

Allas shakes his head, "I am just trying to nurse my mental state right now."

"Is that why you grabbed me? To save someone who can't save themselves?" Empress asks concerned.

Allas turns to Empress and gets onto 1 knee, "I saved you because I left horrible for royal daughters to be placed on the market as slaves. I saved you because I felt as though you should be granted to another life. Not be stuck as something that you aren't."

Empress begins to cry and hugs Allas.

Allas becomes a bit shocked before he calms down and hugs her back.
