Team Hell

Chapter 8

Allas runs behind a home to poke his head out to see citizens that have been possessed by ghosts are walking the streets. He doesn't want there to be another dead after what happened with the angel and Sin. He waits for an opening and looks over to Empress and Sin. He signals them to run across the street. All three run across the street to the other side. Once they get to the house that is across the street, they put their backs to the wall to take a breather.

Sin opens an eye and turns towards the audience and says with a crazed smile, "Hello readers, I think that you guys or some of you guys might be guessing on how we made it into the city without being noticed. Funny thing is that we are almost to the castle. How? You may be asking. You see, we were hiding in plain sight, taking short cuts, hiding behind boxes and other crap, and mainly staying out of the streets. That's how we are able to get this far without being spotted."

Empress looks at Sin, "Who are you talking too?"

Sin turns his attention onto Empress, "None of your business."

Allas turns towards Sin and Empress, "Quiet down you 2, we can't be caught. Now, let's get going." Allas starts running again.

Empress and Sin soon follows closely behind.

They dodge the possessed citizens as they near the castle. They find the gate to the castle as they spotted 2 guards guarding the gate.

Allas turns towards Sin and Empress, "Me and Sin will knock out the guards. Empress, you go inside and free everyone from the dungeons."

Empress nods as Sin shrugs.

Allas and Sin walk out from behind the wall and approaches the gate.

One of guards holds out a spear, "Stop, what is your business here?"

Allas looks at the guard punches them in the face while Sin swings his bat to where he knocks out the other guard. Allas opens up the gate and signals Empress to go inside. He watches her run inside as he soon enters the castle grounds along with Sin.

Both of the guys watch Empress sneak her way into the castle as they find their own way. Allas watches Empress attempt to fly into a castle's window to get inside as Sin uses the front door to get inside along with Allas.

Sin opens the door to reveal that no one was in sight. He turns to Allas who is walking into the building.

Allas looks around to see that no one is in sight.

Sin asks confused, "Where is everyone?"

"I don't know, but I don't like this." Allas walks more into the building to see that the walls are grey and cold. Blood is smeared across the floor as skulls is lined up a grand red staircase.

Sin smiles wide, "This looks like Overlord Giana's palace."

"It looks disgusting." Allas said as he walks towards the steps and walks up them while having Sin walk a bit behind him while taking in the view.

Allas wants to get this entire thing over with and make sure that everyone and everything is safe. He reaches the top of the staircase to be greeted by holy spears along with Sin.

Allas holds up his hands as Sin readies his bat. He watches Sin run up to one of the people who is holding onto a holy spear and knocks the person out cold. Allas sighs and lowers his hands to where his palms are facing the people as shadow tentacles emerges from the ground and wrap themselves around the people. Unprotecting themselves by dropping their spears. The spears made clanking noises as they hit against the stone floor.

Sin looks over at Allas and says while putting the bat onto his shoulders, "You should have done that."

Allas walks by Sin, "I want this entire thing to be over with."

Sin and Allas walks through 4 different halls to try and find King Sorin, but he was nowhere in sight.

Sin was about to give up as for Allas has to make sure that Sin didn't give up and continue on looking for the king. They went through rooms and bathrooms even the kitchen to try and find the king, but there was no luck.

Sin stops walking as he says lazily, "I give up, there is no way that we can find this King Sorin."

Empress's scream could be heard throughout the castle.

Allas turns quickly towards the direction that Empress's scream came from, "Empress!" He begins to run to the direction.

Sin sighs and follows Allas. He knows all too well that this could be a trap.

Allas and Sin arrive to see Empress stuck in holy chains as a blonde hedgehog stands next to her while holding the chains.

Sorin looks at Allas and Sin. He smirks, "Well, well, well, look do we have here. A demon wolf and a demon hedgehog. Coming to stop me?"

Sin points at Empress, "You had to scream."

"I am in pain you jerk!" Empress yells at Sin.

Allas smacks Sin outside of the head, "Enough Sin, for now at least for your antics," He glares at Sorin, "Let Empress go."

Sorin twirls the chains around, "Oh, that would be too easy. Wouldn't it?" He yanks onto the chains which causes Empress to wince in pain.

Sin says to himself, "Now she doesn't scream."

Allas walks forward, "I said let Empress go."

Sorin drops the chains, "There, I let your friend go." He walks towards Allas while readying a holy dagger.

Empress notices the dagger and says aloud, "He has a dagger! Look out!"

Sorin lunges the dagger into Allas's shoulder as he turns towards Sin and blows a powder of holy mist onto him. Watching him fall onto the ground knocked out. He turns his attention back onto Allas as he watches the wolf below him wince in pain. He smiles wide, "This is what Queen Ursula sent me? A weak team of demons?" He begins to laugh until he stops, "It's truly priceless in how that weak Queen sent out weak demons to try and get rid of me." He turns away and walks over to a red throne. He sits down in it and stares at Allas. Smiling wider, "Enjoying the pain?"
