"Nee-chan, wake up. It's morning already. You will be late for school." I open my eyes and see Futari trying to wake me up.

"I don't wanna go today," I reply before closing my eyes again and covering myself under the blanket.

"Mom! "Nee-chan don't wanna go to sch-," I instantly shut my sister's mouth.

"O-okay, I go today."

"What is it, Futari?" my mom asked suddenly as she entered my room.

"Nothing. Onee-chan just has a nightmare about how she still doesn't get any friends even though she got her degree.", Futari tries to cover me, even though it makes a big wound inside my heart.

"Is it true, Hitori?" Mom made a sad face toward me.

"N-No mom! Don't just easily believe everything she says!"

"Okay, okay. Mom believes you will get more friends soon, and if you don't, you can just marry, right?"

"Mom!"

"Hehe. Be ready for school, or you'll be late," mom told me before making a step out of my room.

I wake from my futon and go to the bathroom. I start my routine with things like washing my face, brushing my teeth, and combing my hair. After all that is done, I wear my pink jersey and skirt. Then, I take my breakfast before starting to walk to school.

"Mom, I'll go now," I said to my mom.

"Take care of yourself, Hitori-chan."I open the door and start walking to school.

I always use my neighbourhood route to go to my school, Shuka High School. In my opinion, it's the fast route.

"So cold!", It's cold today, so I cover my hands using my jersey pocket.

"Hah.. It's near Christmas, no wonder why it's cold today."

'Hmm... Mom and Dad are always busy with work while Christmas is happening, and Futari will go to her friend's house to celebrate. I wonder if I will ever get to celebrate Christmas alone again... No! I still have Nijika-san, Kita-chan, and Ryou-senpai to celebrate together. Yes, they will surely invite me when Christmas comes!

"Eek!" While I muttered to myself, I heard someone scream. I don't know where the sound is, but it's scary, so I ran to my school as fast as I could.

Right now, I'm outside of school. It's still have 7 minutes before the class starts, so I walk faster to my classroom.

Remember again, that scream... still haunted me. I think I will ask Kita-chan to accompany me back home after our job at Starry is done.

I enter my classroom and walk to my table. I put my guitar case next to my chair. Then the teacher comes in.

"Good morning, everyone," the teacher greets us.

"Good morning, teacher," everyone greets back.

"So first of all, I want to say that we have a new student," our teacher told us. "He just moved here recently.He is from Tokyo."

"Wow, he must be such a cool person."

"Of course, he's from Tokyo, right?" I hear two girls in my class gossiping about that person.

"I think he must be good at sports."

"What? You want to invite him to join our football club."

"Of course, he's from Tokyo, maybe we can raise the name of our school in football." Then I hear boys gossip about that person too.
