Chapter 2

I woke up the next morning, and I felt something laying on my chest, I moved my head up a little, and I seen that Jenna had decided to sleep cuddled up to me, some time during the night. I put my fingers through her hair, and she stirred awake.
She looked at me and said, "I hope you don't mind. I had gotten cold."
I laughed, and said, "I don't mind. I have been told I am like a giant heater."
Jenna laughed, and said, "You are."
I watched as Jenna sat up, and stretched. She looked so cute. I got to my feet, I took off my Tuxedo jacket, my tie, and my button up t-shirt, laying them by the shade tree, and I stretched. Moving my body from side to side, and I felt Jenna's eyes watching me. I looked over at her, and she instantly moved her face to the side, avoiding my gaze, and I laughed.
She looked back at me, and said, "What?"
I said, "You trying to avoid me noticing you watching me."
She said, "I'm sorry. I used to watch my husband, every morning when he woke up. It used to make my day."
I said, "Then you definitely have something in common with Selena. She enjoys doing the very same. My favorite part is just walking out of the bathroom, after my morning showers, and seeing her laying in bed, taking care of Francia. I know that my awful past is far behind, and my wonderful future is ahead."
Jenna said, "My husband used to do that every morning."
I said, "What is your plans after we leave?"
Jenna said, "Probably continue off of where the other Jenna left off."
I said, "So being an Actress."
Jenna said, "Yeah. But some people might think it's weird that an older Jenna is replacing the younger Jenna."
I said, while picking up an empty bottle by the shore, "Nobody would feel differently about it. Especially after what recently happened. To them, they will probably just shrugg it off. Hell for all we know is, that some of the other people could have done the same."
I walked to where she sat, pulled a leaf off of its branch, and I pulled out a pen from my inside jacket pocket.
Jenna said, "You have a pen in your pocket?"
I smiled, and said, "It doesn't hurt to be prepared. You could need something and not have it, then have something and not need it. Unless it was called for. Plus, its one of those pens, that is about out of ink. So I don't honestly know how far I'll get."
I put the leaf on my pant leg, and I wrote:

"To anyone who gets this note,
Jenna and I are on an Island. Not sure what Island, but I know we're both on my proper earth as my wife Selena and our daughter Francia. If you happen to find this, please try to get a hold of her, and let her know, we're safe. We've been here for I honestly don't know how long, and we've had to scavenge and hunt for our food, and I don't know how much longer we'll be able to stay alive. Because our supplies are running low, and even with us preserving our food, I feel like it wouldn't last us two months. So if anyone gets this, let her know we're safe, in need of help, and I love her and our daughter. By the way, it took a while of apologies, but Jenna forgives us. And she has stopped trying to kill me."

Jake and Jenna

Jenna laughed, and said, "This is a complete lie. We have only been here for a day."
I said, while rolling up the leaf, and putting it into the bottle, "Maybe so, but by the time this bottle reaches someone, it would have been that long. Plus, even if it isn't, and it happens to get into someone's hand before then, if they feel like we're close to death, they may rush to a search party, to where we get saved faster."
Jenna said, "Well then, if it works, so be it. Either way, I get to know you and Selena better, since I apparently forgive you both."
I said, "Even if you don't at this very moment, maybe by the time someone arrives, you will."
I watched the wind very closely, listening intently, and then I threw the bottle, and I couldn't believe how far it went.
Jenna said, "What kind of throw was that?"
I said, "I'm not sure. When our Counterparts leave our bodies, does all the stuff that they brought with them, skills, enhancements, leave as well?'
Jenna said, "What do you mean enhancements?"
I said, "Bruce and his Selena, and our daughter from that Earth we're Vampires. The daughter being born as one."
Jenna said, "I honestly don't know. If that was Vampire strength, do you have any of the other enhancements?"
I said, "The hearing, the sight, I haven't tried anything else."
Jenna said, "You should definitely try them out."
I watched as she started drawing numbers in the sand, and I started to focus on everything I used to have. I felt my teeth protrude out of my mouth, and I started running, towards the middle of the Island, and I watched as the scenery flew past, and I was standing in an open field. I looked around, and there was birds, sitting in trees.
I ran back to the beach, and Jenna looked up, and said, "So speed is another."
I said, "And fangs."
She looked up at my teeth, and she said, "I guess it may be possible. That may also explain the extra heat that your body produces."
I said, "I never actually noticed. While I had it. Plus, I don't know what else I can do, since I wasn't with Bruce long enough. I mean he did turn into a bat once."
Jenna said, "Have you tried that one yet?"
I said, "No. I'll try it later on."
Jenna nodded, and kept going back to her math. I went out gathering some fish, and more water, and then I put the fish on the fire, and the water into the filter. I walked over to where my jacket and tie we're, and I began looking around for my button up t-shirt, and Jenna was wearing it. I smiled, and took off my Tuxedo pants, and set it next to the jacket. I put some more branches into the fire, and then I walked out to the ocean, walked in, and dipped my head under the water. I resurfaced, wiping the water off of my face, and I felt some water hit me in the face. I wiped the water off of my face again, and I heard Jenna start laughing. I dipped under the water, swimming over towards Jenna's legs.
I heard her say, "Jake? Where are you?"
I resurfaced, wrapping my arms around Jenna's waist, and I heard her scream. I felt her wipe the water out of my face, and I started laughing.
She said, "Not funny."
I looked down at her, and I noticed that she had taken off her t-shirt, and my button up, and she was wearing a purple bra and red panties. I felt chills run up my spine, and I heard her giggle.
Jenna said, "I do forgive you both. It wasn't either of your faults. I know that now, and I'm sorry for wanting to kill you."
I said, "It's fine. I'd be the same way, if someone took my wife or my child away from me. Or if they had taken you away from me, I'd be willing to kill someone. I may not kill people right now, but push me to my limits, and I'd snap."
Jenna said, "You'd kill if someone hurt me?"
I said, "Yes. Even though I didn't fully kill your husband and wife, doesn't mean that I don't feel responsible for thier deaths. And getting to know you, before we ended up here, and after we got here, I won't let anything happen to you..."
I was cut off, by Jenna placing her palm on my cheek, and she said, "Thank you."
I smiled, and said, "No problem."
Jenna and I played in the ocean a little longer, and then we walked back up to our camp, we ate dinner, while our bodies dried off from the fire, and then I layed down, I felt Jenna cuddle up beside me, placing my arm over her waist, and we went to sleep.
