Jenna said, "It actually tastes like mushrooms."
Sean said, "Yeah. it's got some Portobello action in there.."
Jenna said, "Whoa."
Sean laughed, and then Jenna said, "Good for them."
Sean said, "So I was fasinated to read that Thing wasn't cgi'd, but rather played by Romanian magician Victor Dorobantu.."
Jenna said, "Yeah."
Sean continued, by saying, "What was the most creative memorable way that you saw him tap into the creative depth of that character using only his hand?"
Jenna said, "Oh, it actually was that thing operating room, uh scene where, um hey they weren't on him, but they we're shooting my coverage and it's the first and only time Wednesday cries, and I went to like reach my hand out to him, and he pet my hand, like he was comforting me, and I actually started crying like I restarted the line because it actually made me sad, and we just like laughed and that was like a real bonding moment for Victor and I, but kudos to him because they had him in all kinds of crazy positions.."
Sean said, "Yeah, because like in a whole chroma key suit that they edit out like later, so that's what you think, you think like the hands was there, but he's physically there acting with you."
Jenna said, "Yeah, it's, there's a blue man in the entire show and he's just, they took him out, but he, I remember they would build all these set pieces for him so they did like um a wild desk, so he was sitting crouched in a desk, or they built holes in the floor, um but yeah, that was a real task I would say and he killed it."
Jenna said, "Yeah, I'm feeling alright."
I watched as they both picked up another wing, bit down into it, and then put it back down.
Jenna said, "Got it."
Sean said, "Mmmhmm."
Jenna said, "Huh."
Sean said, "Yeah."
Jenna said, "Good flavor."
Sean said, "So you called the horror genre your second home and then once joked, I don't know what it is about my face, but people always want to throw blood on it. When did you know that you'd like to scare people?"
Jenna said, "Well I know when I was younger when people would like jump out from behind walls or something like that, I'm salivating a little.."
They both laughed, and Sean said, "Yeah."
Jenna continued, by saying, "When people would jump out from behind walls or something like that, I never moved. I never flinched and people would tell me that I have no soul, so I felt like trying to get them back was kind of the start of it all.."
Sean said, "Mmmhmm."
Jenna continued, by saying, "I would say from a very early age."
Sean said, "What makes the 80's slasher prom night to you, a gold standard genre?"
Jenna said, "Oh my god, it's got all the classic teenage tropes, it's got incredible Gore. Um, I feel like there's just so many Staples that it's inspired so many horror films to come since then.."
Sean said, "Mmhmm."
Jenna continued by saying, "It's a proper way to do a slasher like if you ever needed some Guiding Light, I think Prom Night is a really really great one."
Sean said, "And then can you explain the process of what goes into putting together Prosthetics like this."
Jenna said, "Yeah, you go and you get green slime put all over your body. So you sit in a room for about 30 minutes and they create a cast like this this rubber cast and then they send it to some lab. They make a mold of your face and then they just make a bunch of skin graft, these fake skin grafts that something like that takes about four hours to put on. They might add like some glycerin or water and then your're pretty much good to go, but that will not move. You're good as long as you don't do something crazy, you're all right."
Sean took a deep breath, and then said, "Alright Jenna. It is that time. This is the Bomb Beyond Insanity."
I watched as Jenna picked up the next wing, held it up, and said, "I'll take like a healthy bite as well. Because I need the actual experience."
While Jenna was talking, Sean was saying, "I'll do that as well. Yeah."
I watched as they both took a bite, and then put the wing back on the plate.
Jenna said, "It's a bit aggressive. Ah. I think it may have been right to be scared."
Sean said, "Scared, but look at you just smiling, right in the face of it you know."
Jenna started smiling at the camera, and we all laughed.
Jenna said, "Can you see my white knuckles?'
Sean said, "There you go. I can see it. And I might start hiccuping. I can already kind of feel it.."
Jenna said, "Okay."
Sean said, "Just giving you fair warning."
Sean breathed a little, and then said, What's the secret to a perfect guacamole in your opinion?"
They both started laughing, and then Jenna said, "Whole lot of Lime, you need a whole lot of lime in there, um and jalepenos, um, just choose some good avocados.."
Jenna laughed, and then continued, "But Lime.."
Sean said, "Yeah."
Jenna continued by saying, "Lime is the answer. I hate it when they throw pico de gallo just on top like very casually, just a couple of tomatoes. It doesn't do it for me. Either fully fully submerged really mix it in there, do it the right way. If I don't see any cilantro in there disappointing instantly. Um, and yeah if the avocadoes are too white, because then you know that it's going to be hard and they're just not ready. Don't rush them."
Sean said, "And then in 2015 the New York Times published a controversial guacamole recipe. Well they called for a ratio of 2 thirds cup of fresh green peas to every three avocadoes.."
Jenna wasn't liking this, because she said, while cutting him off, "Fuck that. It's lik, it's not even controversial, that's obviously incorrect."
While she was saying that, both Sean and I we're laughing.
Sean said, "You know, of ever I had an episode to lean on somebody. I'm happy it's this episode because I'm going through it."
Jenna said, while he was laughing, "I'm so sorry, if there's anything you need from me."
Sean said, "Yeah."
Jenna smiled, and then said, "Yes. I'm, it's settling."
Sean said, "Yeah."
Then Sean said, "Just in time to move on to the next wing. This number nine wing is Taco Vibes Only.."
He took a deep breath, and then continued, "I have the strength, if you have the strength."
Jenna said, "I have the strength."
While they both grabbed the next wing, Sean said, "This is me leaning Jenna."
Jenna said, "All right."
I watched as they both took a bite, and then put it back on the plate.
Jenna said, "Yeah. Okay."
Sean took a breath, and Jenna said, "I still really feel just really vulnerable from the Bomb."
Sean said, "Yeah. Never leaves you, you know. You are forever changed after something like that."
Jenna said, "I think so."
Sean said, "Can you give us one highlight and one lowlight from your most recent Paris Fashion Week?'
Jenna said, "Ooooh. I'm a really big fan of Steve Lacy, when I was younger and still am, and he was there, um I got to meet Gaspar No, who is like an incredible filmmaker, and I've really admired for a really long time. I feel like I was just around like a really influential group of people, and uh yeah I felt very lucky. A low light. Oh, I think I've never been up on the Eiffel Tower, and I try to do that, and then they told me no.."
Sean said, "You got rejected at the Eiffel Tower?"
Jenna said, "Yeah and I walked up the stairs, I did the whole thing and then I was like okay, let me get to the next level and they they are ushering us to like the elevator, going down and we're like just leave."
Sean laughs.
Jenna said, "It's just maybe it just wasn't a good day, I don't know what they went through."
Sean laughs again, and then said, "All right Jenna Ortega."
Sean picked up the last bottle and started shaking it, and then Jenna picked it up, moved her hand towards the cap, and then said, while shaking the bottle, "Beautiful bottle. Oh, I should shake it too right."
After they we're done shaking, Jenna said, "I feel ready."
I watched as they poured some on the last wing, and Jenna said, "What's good enough?"
Sean said, "That's good enough."
Jenna said, "That's good enough?"
Sean said, "That's very good enough."
The camera people and me laughed, while Jenna was putting the bottle back down, and saying, "Cool."
I watched as they both held up the wings, and Sean, "Cheers," while Jenna said, "This is it."
Jenna said, "Alright cheers."
Sean said, "Cheers."
They both took a bite, and then put the wings back down.
Jenna said, "That's delicious."
Sean was smiling, and he smacked the table, and then Jenna said, "That's actually like really good."
Sean said, "Jenna.."
Jenna tried to make a heart symbol, and then said, before she made another one, "I've got the craziest thing on right now."
Sean said, while making a heart symbol, "Right back at you. Right back at you. And look at ustaking on the Hot Ones Gauntlet, living to tell the tale, just one more challenge for you, don't worry. I'm not gonna bring out any more wings, but I was fasinated to learn that one of the ways that you unlocked the Wednesday character was when you did a take without blinking, and then Tim Burton liked it so much, he said. Hey let's do every take without blinking, so to close things out. What I want to do is a Stanley Kubick style stare down staring contest. You versus me, to see who buckles first against this mounting pressure of the hot sauce and these bright studio lights, are you ready?'
Jenna said, while grabbing the hot sauce bottle and the wing she just took a bite out of, "Wait let me really stress myself out."
SEwan said, while pouring some hot sauce on the wing, just like Jenna was doing, "All right...
Jenna said, "I feel like that's better, that makes it harder."
Sean said, "There we go. All right degree of difficulty getting cranked."
they both took another bite, and then Jenna said, "I don't know if I should have done that."
Sean laughed, and then Jenna said, "Okay."
Sean said, "Alright. You started okay."
They both started the stare down, and a few minutes later, Jenna said, "I'm gonna get you."
They continued for a few more minutes, and then Jenna said, "I'm not gonna cry."
Sean laughed, and it continued.
A couple minutes later, Sean took a big breath, and then blinked.
Sean said, while he clapped, "There we go. I never stood a chance."
Jenna said, "I'm so glad that you didn't make that awkward at the end, because that could have been a weird way to close it."
They both started laughing, while Jenna started putting the caps on the bottles.
Sean said, "I thought it was gonna go on for too long. I was like you know what, I was running out of gas, but I was really determined you know. I could see I was reaching the point right there but I never stood a chance. I never stood a chance.."
Jenna said, "Yet you're going down my face."
Sean continued, by saying, "And look at you taking out the wings of death, living to tell the tale, now there's nothing left to do but roll out the red carpet for you. This camera, this camera, and this camera let the people know what you got going on in your life."
Jenna said, "Um, up next I am the sixth installment of the Scream franchise is coming out March 10th I believe, and if you want to go chack that out in theaters, you can do that, and then also yeah Wednesday is now streaming on Netflix so if you want to or you don't want to, that's up to you. And I'm gonna be spending time with my family."
Everyone started clapping, including me, and then Jenna said, "That makes me so happy, like what a great environment."
They started fanning thier mouths again, and then Jenna said, "So awesome." That was so cool. That was the coolest thing.."
Jenna walked away, and then came back, for a picture, and she said, "I had a really good time."
When they we're finished, Sean came over to me, with Jenna by his side, he shook my hand, and said, "You have an awesome Wife. You must br really proud."
I smiled, and said, "I am."
Sean hugged Jenna one more time, and then Jenna took my hand, and we walked out to the car. I helped Jenna inside, I walked around to my side, Jenna reached over to open my door, I got in, put my key into the ignition, started the engine, backed up, and then started driving to where Selena and Mandy we're out clothes shopping.
