Chapter 1
I woke up to the sound of my best friend (Skylar) screaming in my ear.
"Oh my goodness Hadlee...WAKE UP! Todays the day we leave for the big city!"
"Uhhg" I moaned.I always dread getting out of bed in the morning.
"Oh come on ya big sleepy head. We are going to New York!" She screamed while yanking on my arm.
"Okay okay, I'm going" I said quietly while slowly opening my eyes, and pulling my body out of the warm comforter.
Skylar jumped out of bed, and immediately started to get ready. We both got dressed, and went downstairs and ate a bowl of Cheerios. I was so excited I could barley eat. We packed our final things like our toothbrush, deodorant, soap, etc...
Finally we were all packed up. We waited for our moms to get ready so they could drive us to the airport. This is going to be the best vacation ever. Sky and my parents are letting us take a trip to New York by ourselves. We are only in 9th grade.Well going to be in 9th grade. (Its summer) I literally can't believe this is happening.
