Fluttershy's Best Friend (Earth Pony Male Reader X Fluttershy)

One day Y/n was walking around his home feeling bored since he got dumped by his girlfriend Rainbow Dash. She decided to talk to him about their relationship and decided that it was better if they split up as she wanted to focus on her career as a Wonderbolt. Despite the fact he always worked hard in the fields earning enough for both of them to live comfortably. He understood but was still sad about it however they decided to try and be friends for a while but it never worked out. Now a days he helps Fluttershy by delivering her animal feed every week it always made him happy when he saw her smile however whenever he sees Rainbow Dash he always runs away to avoid her. And so our tale begins of rekindled love and kindness.

Y/n: And so begins another grueling day but at least I get to see her smile. And maybe who knows I will finally ask her out.

Y/n strapped himself to his cart and made his way to Ponyville. He paid for his usual supplies he delivers each week to Sweet Apple Acres, Rarities Boutique and Twilights Castle. However he always avoids Rainbow Dash ever since that day she broke up with him for another stallion. As he made his way to Fluttershys cottage he was greeted by her animals and he nodded an said his hellos but just as he got closer he could here yelling from just inside the cottage he pressed the emergency release from his strap and charged into find Fluttershy crying while being yelled at by Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash: How many times do I have to tell you stay away from Y/n!!

Fluttershy: But you aren't dating him anymore he's not some property you can own Rainbow.

Rainbow Dash: SO WHAT I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT AS A WONDERBOLT AND I ALWAYS GET WHAT I want... 

Y/n: DASH!!!

Rainbow: Wait what are you doing here??!!

Y/n: I was making my weekly delivery to Miss Fluttershy but here I see you yelling at her and upsetting her. Look Dashie we agreed that our relationship was never going to work and we tried being friends and that blew up in our faces please I don't want you losing your friendship with Miss Fluttershy.

Rainbow Dash stopped and saw how afraid Fluttershy was and that Y/n was right she apologized to Fluttershy and left but not before Y/n put his hoof on her tail.

Y/n: Hold on Dash we need to talk I want to settle things between us once and for all.

Rainbow Dash: What do you mean??

Y/n: I want us to talk about our feelings and try to understand one another please.

Rainbow Dash: Oh for the love of cider all right all right. You win Ill talk.

Y/n: Whoa easy.

Rainbow Dash: The truth is I was jealous of you visiting Fluttershy the whole time and I thought you were moving on from me too fast and and waaaaaaaaaah!!!!

Y/n was surprised that he saw her cry for the first time he wanted to comfort her but was anxious so Fluttershy hugged Rainbow Dash instead. Rainbow Dash resisted at first but cried into her feathers for a few mins. After crying for a while Rainbow Dash grabbed a hanky from a tissue box and blew her nose while Y/n made tea for the both of them and decided to let them talk while he tended to Fluttershys animals he know what the liked and how they wanted their food done. Angel her bunny hopped onto his head as Y/n was the only other pony that Angel liked and trusted around Fluttershy.

Y/n: You know Angel I might not be able to understand you like Fluttershy but talking to you and your friends helps me think. 

Angel smiled up at Y/n and nuzzled him. 

Y/n: Wanna take a nap under the trees.

Angel nodded while yawning Y/n lied down under a tree while Angel nestled beside him but then all the other animals saw Y/n and decided to snuggle up with him while he was napping Angel then decided to nap on Y/ns back so he wouldn't get smushed.
