TAEHYUNG'S PAST

Taehyung was born into a life of privilege, his striking good looks evident from an early age. His father was a successful business tycoon, renowned for his empire and influence. At school, Taehyung was a sensation, not only because of his affluent background but also due to his charming demeanor and exceptional academic progress. He effortlessly captured the hearts of others, entitled as school heartthrob.

Despite his popularity, Taehyung remained approachable, exuding warmth and kindness that endeared him to many. He shared a close bond with his elder brother, Seokjin, who was four years his senior.

When Seokjin turned 21, he made a bold announcement, he will not inherit his family business instead will persue his own passion. This decision was met with admiration from their parents, who valued his ambition. As a result, it became clear that Taehyung would inherit his father's company, further elevating his status and allure among his peers.

Jin embarked on his journey from the ground up, fueled by unwavering dedication and passion. Through relentless effort, he transformed his passion into a remarkable success, earning a prestigious spot among the top ten companies in the business world. His achievements were recognized widely, as he garnered numerous "Businessman of the Year" awards, solidifying his reputation as a formidable leader.

In contrast, Taehyung found himself increasingly anxious. The weight of responsibility loomed over him as he prepared to take the reins of his father’s company, and he was determined not to disappoint his family. Although Taehyung was already an exceptional student and often the center of attention, the pressure and high expectations from his peers and teachers became overwhelming. This stress led him down a troubling path, pulling him deeper into a spiral that he struggled to escape.

He sought solace and a means to relieve his stress through women and fleeting encounters. When he experienced intimacy for the first time, it was devoid of any emotional connection, driven solely by lust and need. This behavior spiraled into an addiction; whenever he felt overwhelmed, he would spend the night indulging in his desires.

None of his family members were aware of this struggle, except for Jimin. Despite Jimin's repeated attempts to intervene, Taehyung’s addiction only intensified over time.

One day, he crossed paths with a girl named Park Chaeyong, who had just enrolled in his college and was two years his junior. She was captivating, confident, and open-minded, with a figure that instantly drew Taehyung's attention. He proposed a friends-with-benefits arrangement, and given his reputation as the college heartthrob, she readily accepted.

They both agreed to maintain a purely physical relationship, devoid of emotional entanglements, to satisfy their mutual needs. This arrangement persisted for years, and even after Taehyung gained the title of CEO, he found himself entangled in this habitual cycle.

When Seokjin turned 27, he married the love of his life, Misoo, in a beautiful love marriage. Observing the genuine affection and care in Seokjin's relationship made Taehyung feel a deep sense of guilt. He came to realize that his own actions were misguided, leaving him burdened and remorseful. He felt as though he had brought nothing but shame to his family, whom he cherished above all else. The fear of being unable to break free from his destructive habits and the possibility of his family discovering the truth weighed heavily on his mind.

Jimin stepped in to comfort Taehyung and guide him toward healing. He encouraged Taehyung to join yoga classes, which helped him manage his stress in a healthier manner. Additionally, Jimin invited Taehyung to work out with him at the gym, keeping him occupied and away from needs. With Jimin's unwavering support, Taehyung ultimately managed to move on completely, finding a path toward a more fulfilling life.

He no longer cared about women. Determined to avoid repeating his past mistakes, he chose to distance himself from any romantic relationships.

Although he hadn't confided in his parents yet, as a compensation for his errors, he would marry the woman they selected for him. He vowed to remain loyal to her and to love her faithfully until his last breath.

Thanks to Jimin's guidance, Taehyung became healthier both physically and mentally. Yet, even to this day, he still felt a lingering sense of guilt and cursed himself for having strayed down the wrong path.

Y/N'S PAST

Yoongi and Taehyung conversation before wedding.

Yoongi started with small conversation and then stated in a relief.

I've heard a lot about you from Jin hyung. I wanted to meet you once before marriage and see it from my own eyes. I am really happy to say that indeed whatever i heard about you is truth. I can say that you will be the perfect man for my little sister.

Taehyung smile lightly and thought.

I m not the one you are thinking. I m not a gentleman. I also had a past. Which i felt guilty about. I always avoid relationship just not to destroy any innocent girl's life. And here you are saying all this and thinking me as a perfect man for your sister.

Taehyung said casually.

Hyung i m not that perfect man. You are saying like i am a nobel person who only have good characters.

Yoongi said smiling.

I know no one is perfect. Everyone has weak points. Everyone made mistakes. But i know that you will treat her nicely and that's all i need. I don't care what your faults and imperfections are.

Taehyung smile and Yoongi said.

Y/N had a dark past. She is introvert. She avoid meeting new people. She will also be scared of you in the begining but things will get stable once she feel comfortable and protected around you.

Taehyung understands what he said and yoongi continue.

Y/N never witnessed a good relationship. Our parents was never on good terms. Dad used to abuse mom. He used to beat her despite of the fact that y/n is still young and watching everything. Our Aunt (mom's sis) also suffered domestic violence that she ended up taking her own life. Our Uncle (dad's bro) also used to beat his wife. My dad's family give all the privilege to sons and not daughters. Dad had sent me abroad so i can stay away from all this. Meanwhile y/n witnessed and bear abuse every day. Dad never gave her the love, the attention a daughter deserve. He never allow her to go out. She was home schooled. Dad personally hire teachers and select himself what she should be taught. She never had any friends. I was away and wasn't able to do anything for my sister.

Taehyung was shocked after listening all this. He was hurt. His eyes shows sympathy to that poor girl he didn't even met. He asked.

I m sorry hyung. I felt really bad for her. But hyung she will never wanted to be in a relationship. How should i make it up to her.

Yoongi said.

Taehyung she is so innocent and childish. She will be scared of you and avoid you in the beginning but you shouldn't back off. Don't leave her alone. Treat her with love and care. She will also start loving. Just patience and love is required.

Taehyung nodded and promised him that he will always love her and wait for her to love him back no matter how long it takes.
