Hidden leaf hospital nobody's pov

Naruto had just woken up from a nap surprised that nobody was in the room Naruto had been in the hospital for a little over a week now and was beginning to feel home sick he missed being with his kids and wife he missed having family dinner with them he missed being with his family but he knew he would be home with them for awhile yet he still had a bit of a ways to go to being fully recovered his leg needed to heal he was still recovering a brain surgery and Sakura wanted to check to see if he had a spinal injury they didn't check when he was first brought in because he was in such bad shape that flipping him could have caused him to go into cardiac arrest and he still wasn't able to breath without a mask or oxygen tube yet all he could do was wait until the day he could go home to his family Hi Naruto how are you feeling asks Sakura who has just entered the room ok I guess says Naruto I know how you feel your home sick aren't you says Sakura yeah I miss being with my family says Naruto well hopefully it won't be much longer until you can go home says Sakura I hope so says Naruto anyway I'm in here because me and shizune decided ti would be best considering how you are feeling right now that it would be ok to check fora spinal injury we didn't check when you were first brought in because flipping wasn't a good idea say's Sakura ok says Naruto and you haven't really been able to move your legs have asks Sakura yeah not really I can't even feel them it like they aren't even there says Naruto so we are going to get and X-ray done on your back and maybe a ct scan so we can see if it is injured ok says Sakura ok says Naruto Sakura then takes Naruto away to get X-rayed then after about 10 minutes Sakura brings him back when they get back in the room hinata and her children are there waiting Sakura then leaves to go check the scans hey when did you guys get here asks Naruto a few minutes ago where were you asks hinata Sakura took me to get a few X-rays and a cat scan says Naruto of what asks hinata sakura said they suspected I may have a spinal injury they couldn't check when I was first brought in because flipping me wouldnt have been a good idea says Naruto ok says hinata are you feeling any better daddy asks himawari some what says Naruto that's good says Himawari I can feel and use my arms it's my legs I can't really feel says Naruto oh that's not good says Boruto yeah I'm hoping it's just because I have been in bed so long says Naruto  hopefully that's the case says hinata sport but that isn't the case says Sakura as she enters the room what do you mean asks Naruto well it turns out you actually broke a vertebra in your back it's began to heal but in the wrong way so what we need to do is go in and re break it then we are going to put some pins and screws in so it heals in the right position after that you will be doing a lot of physical therapy says Sakura will I be able to walk again asks Naruto yes you should be able to says Sakura that's good says hinata when is dad going to have surgery asks Boruto in about an hour they are preparing the or says Sakura who will be preforming the surgery asks Naruto I will says Sakura ok says Naruto then about a half an hour later shizune and several nurses are peeping Naruto for surgery naruto then says goodbye to his family and taken away Sakura then puts him under anesthesia and begins the surgery

Naruto's hospital room nobody's pov

Hinata Boruto and himawari where in Naruto's hospital room waiting for naruto to come back from surgery they where hoping that after this Naruto would finally be able to recover and come home then Sakura walks in Sakura how did the surgery go asks Hinata it went very well but he will have a lot of pain when he begins therapy says Sakura oh poor Naruto he has already been through so much says hinata yea he has but he will be ok says Sakura then shizune comes in wheeling Naruto's bed in she the man locks the wheels and leaves hi daddy says himawari quietly honey daddy is still very groggy says hinata ok says himawari when will he start therapy asks Boruto probably in a few days says Sakura now he is slowing waking up but he may be groggy for awhile says Sakura ok says hinata sakura then leaves the room hi honey take your time waking up says hinata Naruto then weakly turns his head to look at hinata he then closes his eyes and falls asleep
