It was about 8:00 AM and i woke up to the sound of my computer. "Ding!" The sound of a notification. Well, not just one notification. This sound has been going on and on all morning. First I was able to ignore it, but now it's getting more annoying.
I stumbled to my computer, still half asleep, while the notification just kept on coming.
Of course, it was Micah. "Finally! You're online. Good morning :3" he wrote after spamming me for 5 minutes without a break.
"Good morning to you too, Micah. But it's it a little bit early?" I answered. I grabbed my hairbrush while staring at the screen waiting for his reply. Since Micah and me got into a relationship, he has only gotten more clingy. Every opportunity he gets to talk to me, he will talk to me. I don't really mind it, but when he starts messaging this early, I could snap his neck. I grabbed some clean clothes and got undressed
"Yeahhh I couldn't wait to tell you the good news!" He replied, taking him a little longer to respond than he normally does.
"Good news? What happe-" A video call popped up and Micah's face filled up the whole screen. He seemed really exited, but after a few seconds his face went bright red. "Micah! Warn me before you call me! I am half-naked here!" I said, angry and embarrassed. "Sorry!" He yelled, trying his best to cover his screen with his hands. I quickly put on something oversized so I won't be so exposed anymore. "You can look now." I said sitting down. "Now tell me, what is this good news you wanted to tell me?"
"Well!" He said, still embarrassed and red because of the situation. "Since we're like dating for a a while now, i decided to give you a present!" He smiled, a little devious. "A present? Let me guess, another burger?" I chuckled.
"Wait, you rather have a burger? Well, I'm sorry but that's not what you're going to get. I can still buy you one if you really want!" "Don't worry about the burger, I like everything you give me." I smiled.

"That's what I like to see, your adorable smile, my angel." He knew exactly how to get me flustered every time. "But Angel, if I suddenly went offline, would that be okay for you?" He asked seriously. "Offline? But you're always glued to your computer. That would be really weird and suspicious. Why are you asking?"
"I can't tell you! It's a surprise! But it requires me to leave you for two days. Are you able to handle it?" He asked. "I know it's hard, but could you do it for me?" There they are, his puppy dog eyes. He always uses them when he wants something. "Okay, okay fine. But I swear to god if you're not online after those days!" He smiled and bounced excitedly. "If I could kiss you right now, i would!" We continued to our conversation for hours before we both had to go because of work.

  After work, I got back behind my desk. I started the computer to talk a little more.
But instead of seeing a hello from Micah, there was a different message.
"I'm sorry I can't talk for a little while, I promise nothing bad happened and NO this is not your fault. I'll be back, I promise you that. I love you, angel."
I stared at the message, not sure if I should reply to him or not. Even though Micah said it wasn't my fault at all, I still had a lot of negative thoughts. He wouldn't just stop talking to me without any good reason. I must've done something that upset him. My heart was beating fast, I was nervous and anxious. I just sat on my bed hugging the dinoplushie Micah bought me a while ago. Even though i knew it wasn't true my mind just couldn't help it.

It has been two whole days now. Micah still didn't answer the messages i send him. I clothed myself in something comfortable and walked downstairs to get some coffee. I was clenching the plushie under my arm, this was my way to be still with Micah even if he wasn't physically there. This was just the next best thing i could think of. I really missed him, a lot. I sat down just scrolling through social media before an unknown number messaged me. "There has been a package delivered to your door". What? I opened the chat and responded with: ~"I never ordered anything, you must've gotten the wrong number. Have a good day" I closed my phone and sat on my couch. The second i sat down my bell started to ring. I didn't feel like having any company at the moment so i just ignored it, acting like i wasn't home at all. The ringing just kept on going and going.
I sighed really deeply because of annoyance but walked to the door. I fixed myself a little in the mirror so I didn't look like a sack of shit. I opened the door and....

"Happy anniversary, Angel!" Micah said exited smiling. Out of the little box he was holding sounded a meow and a small cat with a little bow on top of his head popped out. "We're you're little present."
