"Happy anniversary, Angel!" Micah said exited smiling. Out of the little box he was holding sounded a meow and a small cat with a little bow on top of his head popped out. "We're your little present."
I couldn't believe my eyes. Micah was right here, at my doorstep, even though he lives miles away from me. "I hope we're not coming at a terrible moment." He said. "No, no no! You're here at the perfect moment." I smiled. I let them in, once inside I gave him a big hug. "I can't be happier than I am now." I said. A tear even rolled down my cheek as I embraced Micah even tighter. "And neither could I." He smiled and giving me a little peck on the head.

We both walked in. As Micah told me about his flight, I was making him some food. "So I had to sit behind this crying child for 6 hours straight!" He said, raising his voice in annoyance. It scared his cat, causing her to jump up and run away in fair. She hid underneath the coffee table. Skrunkly hated loud noises, that's the reason why she is never in the same room as Micah when he decides to play video games again. He'll always ends up yelling, one time he even punched a hole in his desk on accident. Micah's expression drops. "My poor baby, I am so sorry!" He said genuinely regretting scaring her. I picked up the scared little flufball and stroked it gently. "It's okay Skrunkly, it's okay." I said. Luckily, she calmed down and I handed her back to Micah.

When i was planning to walk back to the kitchen, he pulled my arm down, making me fall over and land on his lap. He smiled. The sudden action of his made me get all red and flustered. He gave me a kiss. "You look absolutely adorable all flustered." He smirked. If I wasn't glowing red like Rudolf's nose, I would've been at this point. "Can we please just cuddle now and eat later?" He asked, wrapping his arms around me. Even if I wanted to leave, I couldn't, he held me tightly against him. So tight, I could feel his chest move with every breath he took and hear his heart beat as if he ran a whole marathon. He was acting all cool, but his body was telling me he was acting a little too brave and is now extremely nervous. "Alright. We can watch a movie and cuddle." I smiled before giving him a little peck on the cheek.

I grabbed a blanket, a few pillows and turned on a romcom movie. I sat on the couch with Micah's head on my lap. I played with his hair and fed him some popcorn once in a while. It was all going so well and i hoped this moment would last forever until Skrunkly decided to rest on top of Micah's head. His fluffy tail covering his nose, causing him to not be able to breathe properly. "Skrunkly!" He yelled. "Why do you have to choose my face to sleep on!"
