World Trigger || Various! x Reader

*~Chapter 3~*

AN: apologies for not updating in like a year however I dropped out of this fandom and abandoned the book however I'm back watching it again because I found out I didn't finish watching it so I'm rewatching the whole series. This is a big chapter so have fun!

One Big Announcement is that in this chapter, I'm changing the name of  Aiko Hana to Rin Higuchi because I'm not a fan of my past choices in names. So I will go back to previous chapters and change it as well.

1st POV:

Today started out like any other day in Border, we did our morning patrol then we all decided to head the the cafeteria for some food. What wasn't expected was the sirens to go off announcing the large-scale attack. 

"What!?" Yelled Akari "It's happening now!?"

"It's the sirens for the attack" I announce "but I thought we have a few more days still"

"Now isn't the time to be asking questions, we should head back to our room to prepare for the battle" Rin spoke up.

The twins nodded in agreement .

I sighed "You're right let's go"

We all took off running, I know we were told to hang back but they never said we couldn't prepare ourselves. Turning a few corners we made it to our room and all went inside. Rin immediately went to her computer and started to load everything up. The rest of us pulled out our triggers and switched them on, changing into your teams uniform.

It had been nothing but silence for a while before a loud 'bang' was heard and the room started to shake.

"What's going on? Rin status report please" I ask

Rin looked up from her computer "It seems the enemy has launched an assault on the headquarters, luckly the barriers are holding up and it seems that someone has already been tasked with the job of taking them out."

I heard a groan from behind me "When is it our turn!?" Akari complained. The yin and yang twins shared a silent look of agreement. [one has white hair the other has black, I thought it suited them]

"We have to wait you three" I sigh "We were given orders and we must follow them"

Rin let out a gasp in surprise "New info has just been sent out, seems that their are a new type of Neighbours out there"

"They have to let us fight now!" Akari yelled in excitement.

Suddenly radio static was heard comming from our room's only speaker in the roof.

"(L/N) Squad this is an order; defeat as many Rabits as possible" It was the Captain.

I smiled excitedly "Well you heard the man, it's show time!"

Soon enough we had reached the town and was greeted by a hoard of Neighbours, ones we had already seen. 

"Twins take the right side, I'll take the left, Akari cover our backs" I commanded.

The twins nodded and went after the right side.

"Yes ma'am!" Akari replied happily.

I ran straight at the first neighbour and wielding Kogetsu I killed the Neighbours on the left side. Once I had finished with them I turned to see the twins had finished their side as well. 

"Rin where do we go?" I asked 

"Head North-East and there you'll run into the new Neighbour type" Rin responded.
