It was very usual for Easy Company to lose their weekend passes. Lieutenant Sobel had to be the only lieutenant to take away passes for the smallest infractions. And ever since Aurora joined Easy, he was extra hard on her and the men. At first, they all blamed it on her, but now since Sobel calls more things out than there being a woman, they finally gave up on blaming her. But, when they had their weekend pass every man in Easy would not hesitate to go out to the nearest bar that was within walking distance. Aurora on the other hand did not go with them. Even if George or Bill or any of her closest friends begged her to go she wouldn't. You see, when Aurora was younger, maybe early teenage years, she had older friends. And those older friends would influence her to drink, smoke, and do many other things they got their hands on. Once she left Philly to go off to boarding school, she only stuck with the smoking part. Ever since then she never drank an ounce of alcohol.

Easy Company had just finished doing the obstacle course that was nearby their barracks. They had only trained on it a few times and every time Aurora can never get herself up the wall at the end. She was able to keep a steady pace with them all up until that wall. Each time they got to the end, someone had to pull her up. And that someone was Bull Randleman. Bull was like an older brother, but he was an older brother for everyone there so it made sense, but if someone was picking on her he'd be the one to shut them up. Of course, her brother and close friends did as well, but Bull just had more of a harsher tone towards people that could stop a problem instead of making it worse.
"Nice job today, Corporal Guarnere." Winters sent her a warm smile as he made his way toward her. Nixon shortly trailing behind him.
Aurora huffed out a breath and looked at the redhead, "Hey, I told you to call me Aurora remember?" She placed her hands on her hips and controlled her breathing, "And I did not. That stupid wall just ruins everything."
"Right, sorry." Winters looked over at the wall as Dog Company finished up the course, "You'll make it up there someday. That's what this training is for. To build up strength and stability"
She nodded and sighed, then sent both lieutenants a smile, "That is true. Now, I should probably go shower. Our weekend passes weren't revoked and I have the perfect book to read while all the boys are gone." And with one last smile, she turned her heels and walked away from them. But was quickly stopped by George, Frank, and Malarkey.
"Ah ah ah, not so fast." George held his pointer finger in front of her face and shook it in the air, "You, m'lady, are joining us tonight whether you like it or not."
Frank nodded, "You do nothing in the barrack every time we go out, so at least join us once."
"Nu-uh, I do things when y'all are gone. Now, if you'll excuse me I need to shower." Aurora glared at all three men and shoved by George and Malarkey.
They each followed after her, "Oh please, Aurora. Everyone knows you just sit there, read, then fall asleep before we even get back." Malarkey jogged up beside her.
"See? That's doing something and that something is productive. At least I have a working mind more than all of yours." She shook her head at their nonsense. All she wanted to do was shower and be alone.
But, the three men did not leave her alone. They followed her to where she showers and even stood outside trying to make valid reasoning on why she should go with them. She tried to take longer than she usually does so they'd leave, but they didn't even budge. By the time she was done, Frank, George, and Malarkey were sitting on the grass continuing the talk while sharing a smoke.
"Alright fine! I'll go with ya. Now shut your traps before I change my mind." Aurora stormed out of the lieutenant's bathroom with her semi-damp hair and wrinkled nighttime clothing and made her way to the barrack.
